Many grasses are short, but some grasses can grow very tall, such as Bamboo. Plants from the grass family can grow in many places and make grasslands, including areas which are very arid or cold. There are several other plants that look similar to grass and are referred to as such, but are not members of the grass family. These plants include rushes, reeds, papyrus and water chestnut. Seagrass is a monocot in the order Alismatales. Grasses are an important food for many animals, such as deer, buffalo, cattle, mice, grasshoppers, caterpillars and many other grazers. Unlike other plants, grasses grow from the bottom, so when animals eat grass they usually do not destroy the part that grows.[2] This is a part of why the plants are successful. Without grass, soil may wash away into rivers (erosion). Evolution of grass Graminoids include some of the most versatile plant life-forms. They became widespread toward the end of the Cretaceous. Fossilized dinosaur dung (coprolites) have been found containing grass phytoliths (silica stones inside grass leaves).[3] Grasses have adapted to conditions in lush rain forests, dry deserts, cold mountains and even intertidal habitats, and are now the most widespread plant type. This audio broke my heart, and I wanted to hug Mindful so hard during this audio. She sounded so upset about her feelings for the listener. 💚 Ice or Grass? Ice, the solid state of water once it goes below the freezing temperature 32⁰F or 0⁰C. Ice type pokemon arent picked often but ice types moves are very good in Pokémon. Grass, the Earth's peachfuzz of planty hair that grows in many locations. Grass type pokemon weak to many types but often comes with a lot of damage or recovery moves. I choose ice, because ice cream also the crystalization in ice is cool too. Grass types are also weak to ice.

I really don't know. On paper, grass is an abysmal type that's only good to fill a few niches, very similar to ice. And yet, grass never really had the same infamy as a bad type like poison or bug do, and I'm not really sure why. Perhaps it's because of the particular niches it holds being rarer and more valuable or because its abysmal offense is easier to make up for, especially in dual types, than ice's abysmal defense. Anyways, I guess I probably prefer grass though I kind of want to say ice just because.
