If thrift stores are going to start charging such astronomical prices, they're going to have to rebrand themselves. I don't think they should give it away, but the word "thrift" does not apply to the retail and higher prices they are asking.

I was thinking the same thing as I am watching this! Those prices were crazy!!! When I think of thrift store I think like a couple of dollars for some of those items not $10-$40 at a thrift store! 🙄

Amen! I agree 100%. They are asking more than retail for a lot of things and thinking they are an antique mall with the other half of the store

At 14:17 you touch some salt and peppers that are critters (possums maybe) that are all dressed up. Those are vintage Fitz and Floyd. I have the same ones and they give me a smile every time I pass my china cabinet.

The Norwegian sugar and creamer set was designed by Turi Gramstad Oliver from Sandnes in the southwestern part of Norway for Figgjo Fajanse between 1966-1970.

Wow. I really like that Mission thrift store. They got a lot of collective items that my kart would've been full if I was to shop there and their prices were pretty reasonable for most of the items. The set of plates that was tagged for $15, I've seen Jocelyn, The Crazy Lamp lady picked up and I think she sold it for pretty good price.

When I thrift, I basically set in my head a value of$10 per item. If under, great. If over, it likely stays. I live in Ontario and everything is up- one small head of iceberg lettuce is $5. Becel med size is almost $8. Don’t forget to add those taxes. We all just need to be wise!

@@janewasson4845 Oh, gees! I hope it's just a virus, short term junk. My daughter and son-in-law have some type of cold bug at present. I'm well, masking up and hand gelling, because I stink at being sick 🤮 lol. Getting 2 rooms of hardware floors redone Tuesday. Gonna have to work like a bandit for the next few days. Take ♥ heart my friend, the days get longer each day, now, and Spring will be the sweetest yet! I pray blessings upon us all and all those in need physically and emotionally. I feel so blessed that I rarely ask... My daughter and her husband have a new foster daughter, age 12, that needs pray. I'm having faith, God is so good to me... I know that he will wrap His arms around her... she is hurt on the inside, not so easily fixable. She knows she is loved now, but has to overcome unacceptable learned coping. mechanisms.
