Күн бұрынI'M PREGNANT!!! God is so GOOD!!! While Max and I have been everything to get home we found out we're pregnant. It's been exciting and scary and everything in between. While we wait to get back to our home in Sweden we've been learning ways to prepare for the journey we're on. One of the books I'm reading and mentioned here is Ina May's Guide to Childbirth which I bought on Amazon: amzn.to/3wMnZY9
Keep in mind I'm opting for a home birth, if possible, and am staying away from medical intervention as much as possible. But, I know God works in mysterious ways.

39. Girl I thought you were 23 😄. I am pregnant with my first princess and I’m turning 32 on the day she is born possibly. You have a similar story to me because I was supposed to be giving birth in Denmark but decided to stay in the US until a few months after the baby is born. Also, Everyone including doctors make me feel ancient but I think the timing is perfect. God had his plan for your little one to come into the world.

I manifested my baby girl by praying and visualizing her. It works. Just put it out there to the universe and God will hear your prayer. She even started popping up in my dreams and family and friends dreams months prior. So amazing

My daughter is now 4 and I had her at 39. I was told I couldn't have children due to my endometriosis, but God had the last word. She is truly a blessing.

I'm 33 and have Endo too, had a laproscopy, then a baby boy who's turning 3 this August...baby no2 is due this September. I'm so happy, I used to be so scared this wouldn't happen for me.

My mom had me at 40, and I must say I'm literally the dream. I always rave that older parents make amazing kids. You just get a different level of maturity, wisdom, knowledge, respect.

I was just thinking about her first videos that I saw her in. Moving, city tours for meet and greets, filming Latoya finding out she's pregnant, cutting her hair, making mini movies, etc. She's had quite a journey from "Just do you,boo!" ❤️❤️

My mama had me at 39. I’m about to be 23. I’m SUPER grateful that she had me at the age she did. She teaches me so many things about life and she’s so wise. I feel like older age greatly contributes to that. Our relationship is something I deeply cherish. She keeps me grounded and I keep her young lol. We have the perfect balance of being best friends/mother & daughter

I'm SO happy for you! You make me think about my daughter who thought she'd never find "the one", then married the love of her life at 38 in 2018. After a miscarriage 2 years ago, last year she was told she couldn't have children. Then - lo and behold - now she's pregnant and due to deliver at FORTY-TWO!!! God works at God's own pace. You deserve this joy. May you have the happiest of families. 💗

Just gave birth in November at 35. I had a 7 inch tumor in my womb (fibroid). Still do. The doctor told me my daughter might be born with no arms and legs (I fired him btw). BUT GOD. My daughter is the most beautiful creature I've ever seen and is as strong as an ox. I'm so so so so happy for you. Soon you'll see just how beautifully life came together to prepare you for a time such as this. Blessings on top of blessings to you and yours.

@@everberry51 He pretty much told me he recommended I terminate the pregnancy because of the fibroid. It makes me wonder how many women have taken his advice. My high-risk doctor told me everything would be fine and I'm glad I trusted him (and myself).

my grama had my uncle at 39 and my aunt at 44. she told me that people were so shocked she was still having children at her age but she didn't care because clearly she was equipped to do so. SHAMELESS. i'm 6 months pregnant now and she's so excited for her first great granddaughter lol may God bless you, your pregnancy and your family.

That pressure is just from society non one else. Society makes money from fear and chaos. Listen to your own body and family genetics because not everyone is the same. Most millennials and gen z are delaying marriage and pregnancy because they understand the huge decision it it in life and my aunt who is an obgyn doctor said most of her clients world wide are only getting married in their 30s so it’s very much normal these days. 20s is like being a teen mind wise these days

Don't listen to them ! My mom was 38 when she had my twin little sisters. They are 18 now my mom is 56, dad 58 and they still healthy and fit. I'm 31 no kids yet! I'm chilling taking my time!

People express THEIR anxieties by lecturing you. It has nothing to do with you. Give them a good therapist's number and kuddos for respecting your pace and your journey :)

This! Technically women can give birth up until menopause begins (typically in your 50s). The chances may decrease the closer you get but it's still very possible. Forcing women to conceive at 25 is just archaic and sexist designed to keep women from ever realizing their potential outside of gendered expectations of wife and motherhood. We are more than just a wife and mother. We are our own person.

My mom was 41 when she had her 9th child. She had one successful and relatively quick home birth too. You'll be fine 😊 love these chats about life. Wisdom from successful women is golden.

I’m 33 and this gave me such relief for real! I feel like there is a good amount of our generation that really wants to wait until they’re for sure for sure ready. It’s nice to see late 30s pregnancy getting exposure and normalized❤️

Same here! I was feeling worried about getting older because society puts a timeline on women that if we don't have kids by 35 our chances are slim or there may be hardships after. But God is good and technology is advanced these days so I am hopeful when the time is right, it will happen.

@@cutepinksocks take it from someone who was 20 when she gave birth; it’s wise to have them older. I can honestly say that I was not mentally or emotionally equipped to be a mom at 20. But, she’s now 19 and I’m 40, and I’m a better and more patient mother. Please have them when you are ready. God bless you

Only concern is that if I wait too long then i'll be a geriactric mom and the baby may have complications, i definitely don't want that but i am hopeful with advanced technology and god's grace everything would be ok. having kids in 30s is quite common these days

@@cutepinksocks I’m a medical coder and trust me, women in their 40’s are having healthy babies these days. Times have changed. Having kids later in life is more common than you would think. You’ll be fine.

I'm the last of my mum's kids. She had me at 40, I'm 39, she's still going strong and living to even see my kids who are age 18, 10 and 6, along with all her other grandkids and great grands. God is indeed great xx

You’re so young. Don’t worry sweetheart. You will get it all figured out. Give yourself the next four years to start lining up your career and your life. When you turn 30 that’s when you should be on your path for sure. But at 26 you don’t have to stress so much. Trust me. God bless you.

I’m 34 and think 37 is a good age to start having kiddos...or even older to start a family. My husband and I prioritized being 100% debt free and having a significant financial savings/freedom/independence before raising children.

Right?! I feel like women in our generation are popping out babies left and right. I'm 28 and the only girl cousin in my age group who isn't married or doesn't have a kid. Some days I feel so depressed bcuz I feel like I'm lagging behind them. But God has a plan for me. I will let Him light my path.

My mom was 39 when she had me, unmedicated and without the dr or nurses help because they ignored her cries after they checked and she wasn't dilated yet. you can do this!

My preggo craving: canteloupe. No morning sickness. Did prenatal classes; forgot everything when he was popping out. Water didn't break so they had to manually pop it. Was in yoga class when I started labor; felt like poopy stomach pain. Delivered 2 hrs. after labor onset. In retrospect, my advice about pregnancy: wing it.
