Finally! I'm purging my shoes, shoe purge part two!! how to purge your closet (I think) video!!! This is no extreme closet clean out or massive wardrobe clear out. It's more a getting rid of shoes I don't wear anymore and knowing which to keep. I hope you get inspired on how to purge your closet and to slowly learn how to build a capsule wardrobe of shoes (or at least try to!). I think the biggest takeaway is learning your stye and how to find your style. Once you learn how to find your personal style, it gets easier with knowing how to look effortless and how to create outfits easily because you automatically know what works and what does not - hence doing a wardrobe purge.

The pink ones look youthful and casual. Black ones look more serious and mature. The tortoiseshell ones are like a good middle between the two!!! Smart but youthful, pick the tortoiseshell!!

I agree with everything Paula said, except I would not have kicked Lenny out at 8 am! The glasses she chose too, spot on. Also, where’s the orange dress from???!!! ❤️❤️ I wish you and Paula could get together again and do a thrifting day!

"What Paula said" Me and Paula are shoe twins. I agreed with every single choice she made which makes it easy for me to say - "What Paula said". Agree on the tortoise shell glasses too. They blend with your hair and skin tone and TOTALLY suit you. You wear them, they don't wear you like the statement Clark Kent ones do.

I vote for the sheer pink glasses. Also, my fav brogues were the ACME ones that you dyed black. I just loved the sleek shape of them and they didn't have any wrinkles yet. I also love the nude slingbacks (I am totally opposite right now). LOVE the cowboy boots! Also love the gold Gucci loafers and the Zara lucite heeled brogues. WOW...such a great collection even if they are ones you don't wear often!

@@Martina_E I use a thing sold at leather shops (or shoe repairing places ) It's a bottle with thin watery color that really sinks in to the leather and therefor will look very natural and also will last, it can be used on both suede and leather and is superb using with black or other darker colors, on a pair of dirty lightcolored shoes that you would consider ready for the trash ( if not worn out of course, just unfresh) There also are stuff out there that you can use to "paint over", but imo it will stain or crease off.

The tortoise glasses are great.......some of the pointy toed shoes I can’t imagine you even getting your foot in to be comfortable......if they are keep them, Ioved the men’s brogues you didn’t keep and then to be honest I heard you say Bill Cunningham and I completely lost it.....even though I’m Canadian Karen I always tried to get a peak at his Sunday column in the New York Times.........there were several wonderful documentaries made about his life.....he was a lovely gentleman of the old school, very eccentric and charming.......bless his heart.........Donna in Toronto

I liked the pink sling backs more than these Queen elizabeth granny shoes... they were really horrible but hey ho I may be out numbered.im also not so keen on the Zara square heeled shoes but I did like the green pointy toed mules not quite winkle pickers, too classy for that... the last cowboy boots were nice too...

Ok Karen:) liked the heavy bottoms of the pair you dyed, and the pointed ones that followed that Paula liked- very tuxedo wear- the pearlie vintage ones! Sooo cute! Timeless “It Girl!” Look! Try them with your leopard print skirt...and or go monochrome with the pink suit you described- luv cowboyboots as well, those and mule style - ever stylish, luv the light tortoise-I’ve always have a pair of those for casual- and a blk frame for hardcore art openings( I’m an 👩🏾🎨 ) etc :) luv the Victorian ones, have a few lace ups... Luv the green satins - Audrey Hepburn cocktail dressy! Those joker spats are pretty cool - so different- I’d have a hard time letting go of those very kickass- GREAT purple patents too! Omygosh! Luv those metal cladded ones as well but not as much as the joker ones! Wouldn’t be of much help -interesting shoes my weakness☺️!

You guys did great with this purge!!! I agreed with every choice to keep or let go. The Gucci "Queen Anne's" are better replacements for the slingbacks. Even if you don't wear them that often, put them on top of a stack of beautiful books as decor (don't ever get rid of those!). The Acne Oxfords, the classic Gucci loafer, and the Topshop Cowboy boots are still so good - glad you kept them both! The green pointy slings are beautiful on your foot, but mehhhh. If anything, hang them on your wall as decoration. The Tortoise-shell frames are really stunning on your face. They're a little more jazzy than the pink ones and more fun than the black ones. This was a fun video!!!

All the glasses look good on you. The choice is tough! I personally would buy them all but then I have no self discipline! If pushed the tortoiseshell, though for me it's a toss up between those and the pink ones. The shoes. The pink slingbacks are fire! Please keep them Those green pointed shoes put me in the mind of that female Bond villain who had knives in her shoes! Beautiful colour but when I looked at them I didn't see you Loved the video! Love the clear frames on you , love your vidoe's . when it comes to shoes comfort is the no.1 for me and classic plain colours' if they don't go with many outfits i wont keep or buy them . I purged a lot of my wardrobe this year as being at home you notice what you do and don't need x
