Can guarantee, even with $2.00 an item, some person will still make an offer of $1.00; some Buyers have absolutely no Mercy for the Sellers trying to make a living and pay their own bills. Hope you are able to sell it all. That's why we keep our inventory very low, don't hoard stuff and only items that have very good comps.

Yeah, I posted a brand new gorgeous pair of men’s golf shoes the other day and I got some dude that offered me $.99. I was flabbergasted and didn’t even know how to respond. I feel like a lot of buyers treat our stores like their garage sales. They don’t realize how hard we worked I know but dang.

I enjoy watching you trying a variety of ways to sell your items. It gives us different options for our old stale items. I’m currently running 20% off older items and buy 3 get 20% off. So it’s either 20% for 1 item or 40% for 3. I’m trying to unload the old inventory from 2-3 years. I buy in mass quantities at a very cheap price from 2 major stores that is everyday bread & butter. I stopped buying in mass quantities 2 months ago and want to find higher asp items. Thanks for sharing this info with us.

@@DixonsPickins Yes it is working well. I also charge a flat shipping rate of 7.95 so I make about a dollar on that. I tried the 99 cent auction, it didn't work for me.

Probably most of the sales were other Sellers buying the items :>) No one better ask for a Return for a $2 item. I think USPS is going to raise their postal rates yet again so don't short change yourself. Yes, the shipping supplies are So expensive and the Buyers don't appreciate those of us who really overpack their items carefully and with proper packaging. No one says Thank you anymore and give you a deserved 5* feedback. But one tiny thing possibly wrong, one gets 3-4 threatening emails from the Buyers.

EBay change the shipping rule. You no longer can make money off the shipping cost. Anything extra will go back to the buyer

I think that was for calcite’s shipping. I don’t use calculated shipping. I charge a flat rate. I’ll look into it but so far I’ve still been keeping the difference

That is calculated shipping only. You still make money on flat shipping. Flat shipping is the way to go.

You have to figure out the metrics that work best for you. I and doing a 10% coupon along with aggressive markdowns up to 75% off. Just depends on how long it’s been listed

I keep running into scenarios where a preowned shirt for example states XL on the tag but when i measure it measures more like a Medium or Large. Would you still list the shirt as what the tag says and maybe just add notes in the description, or would you list the shirt under what the size measurements come up as and disregard tag size tag? hope that makes sense, thank you.

I would still list it with the tag size and make a note that it either run small or cross check the brand size chart to verify that it may not be a women’s or a kids size
