Reason for the short video: no frat wanted them, they went to one out of 40 bars downtown, and they charged 30 bucks to get into that one bar. Trust me, this video doesn't do any justice. From a recent graduate of this amazing school.

They bring a lot of attention (noise, police, drunk assholes) and they charge a lot. It is just asking for a frat to get shut down.

I'd say the video does it justice. The majority of us are bar hopping social alcoholics. The only difference between Iowa City bars and other school bars is that we have more people go to the bars which makes for more pushing through sweaty ass people all night. Tailgating we're elite, but as for partying we are only above average. House parties are rarely any good cause everyone goes to the bars all night. From a current student of this school. Side note: The edumacation is decent. Pretty soon I'll be graducated.
