I've been into slipjoints for a while & part of me was conflicted that you wouldn't try any other slipjoints like rough rider or lion steel before diving in the deep end & going for the king pin before you know if slipjoints are for you. But it's also a legendary move at the same time. If it speaks to you get that Sh!t, respect.

I think I am going to revisit the slip joints because I grew up with them a lot in boy scouts and purposely have avoided them as I have gotten more into knives as an adult. But maybe I was to harsh on them and can find a good use for one in my edc. If I do get one it would be Tom's Kingpin. Did get to hold one at NYCKS and it is a premium blade for sure. Great video man!

Look at the Fällkniven Gentleman Knife. These two look like peas in a pot. Also an amazing knife. More of a formal knife but stunning with Cocobolo or ironwood handles.

I’m not a big fan of slip joints. That was what I carried for years growing up. I love being able to open my knife with one hand. However the Tactile Bexar and this has me wanting one again
