For classic+ there should be hardcore mode where you choose disadvantage/buff for your character similar to fallout nv etc. Lets say for warrior you could get insane buffs but get one shot by any arrow/thrown/bullet. For shaman. Whenever its raining you get buffed else you get debuff

Classic + should have high risk pvp where you can loot the enemy and keep their gear!

does the classic HC have any changes in the game anyone knows? i cant find any info on it other than the hc stuff, do invisible walls added to the game to keep players out of bounds ?? or some mob behaviors been altered ? to avoid the inifite kite or level boost? does the +10 level diff thing still on to prevent powerleveling in instantes via boosting? please anyone?

Classic Plus should make soul shards stackable. Warlocks could have to absolve a certain quest chain and in return get the ability to stack their soul shards.

Give druids rez in classic+ and thats the only balance change you need

I think it's the magic from back in the day a game that was created, not changed by the demands of the people. I think there should be a browser for matchmaking, in BGs or for dungeons. Not an automatic draft teleport bs. But just a UI that lets us "list" ourselves in a easy, simple to understand matter, for people who are forming a raid group can see, our spec, our class, and what we're looking to run, and then being able to invite people without the need for everyone to "communicate" via private messages. You still have to run there, quality of life shouldn't change the game, but it should make the functions of the game more accesible.

On classic plus; i would love to see all those Maps to open what they actualy planed in Vanilla, like Mount Hyjal or Uldum, stuff like that, new Raids, just more content, and not too much change in making the game more comfortable. but a little more balance and dualspec would realy make the game better, you can create more creativ bossfights with more classes ready to go offspec. Some things in retail are just better then vanilla ever did, and one of this things are bossfights. Ah and one thing, make mages have a Table and for free with no manacost lol. thats the most anoying thing ever to ask for food 🤣

On the topic of what classic + should be. We've had a huge period of no changes and I think the game could benefit from some. Introduce it as a season of mastery or something where they can make more extreme changes and see what works and what doesn't. Everything that is taken as a positive should be added as core to the game. Similar to how poe does its leagues.

Man I was super attached to my druid. At 36, with herb at 240, alch and cooking on 210, we were hit with hyperspawn on top of everything else. My rogue friend exited her vanish to try and save me, which led to us both dying. That one hit way harder than anything I've felt in any game ever. On to the next one!

All the vanilla + changes Xaryu is talking about is on the private server Turtle wow. New dungeons, raids etc. Buffs on some classes like paladin and ench shaman. New quests and zones still the same vanilla feeling

Classic + I'd say mana buffs for specs like boomkin pally shaman shadow/smite priest taunt for pally and support for druid and shaman tanks (gearing) taunt for shaman tank also have talent to make totem threat go to shaman would help with aoe threat dropping stone claw to get aoe threat to the shaman and aoe fire totems would make shaman tank a lot better also remove cd or 20 sec cd on druid aoe and hunter aoe (scale hunter aoe with ap). Could add Tauren pally dwarf shaman as well

As far as classic+ goes, I dont think it should be added dungeons etc. However, if there were a gladiators sanctum for Pve and PvP, for like ultimate glory, people get their characters geared tf up with the best gear, and then if they pass this gladiator test then they get ultimate glory on their account, maybe its a title, or a golden transmog........and if they die, its back to square one

Classic+ would need to give hybrids hit and mana regen talents in PvE. Heroic, H+ & H++ modes would be great additions to dungeons and even raids maybe. Oh and change the PvP system to RBGs for PvP gear and titles (maybe have Season PvP gear where they just update the stats but keep the same transmog to keep up with say Naxx stats etc.) and add a Title / Mount but no gear rewards to Arena that might be classic only maps. Yes to dual spec for sure. Yes AOE loot. Yes New Raids. Mage Table & Lock Well for sure. TBC is technically Classic+ so imo you could fairly take anything from TBC and add it to Classic+ without breaking the game.

Classic+ should just be the original cut content and the most minor of qol updates. Paladin get a taunt, maybe a new ret ability, druids get a feral buff and balance buff, useless talents get removed or revamped. Enhance sham get dual wield (would be my only change someone will hate me for) outside of that i don't know any other class well enough to suggest changes really.

I think they could go full out on classic plus. I want to see more raids and dungeons ofc, no new levels, just new gear at the same power level but unique in some way. I also want new races, they could really fix some of their early mistakes there. Give the alliance high elves which would just be TBC blood elves, and give the Horde goblins, not the Cataclysm ones. Somethign I would really like to see aswell is more specs. Like maybe druids can get a druid of the fang snake form which is all about venoms and warriors could get a spec that has them wield a spear and shield. Things that enhance more class fantasies without actually changing that much. Make it classic style specs. In other words, keep the gameplay loop exactly the same, just provide more ways to experience it. Only endgame would see drastic changes in the form of more content. Eventually there would be a ton of different raids and dungeons to do at 60. That could make the gearing process too quick, but if they do it right it could cause a Path of Exile level planning gameplay loop where you can mix and match stuff fromvastly different raids in other to make some dream come true with your ret one handed paladin wearing a cloth chest piece or something. Tons of stuff like that. And if they got to the point where they would want to make a new class, do it right and make a necromancer class. No flashy demon hunters or glowing death knights. Death knights are cool if they keep them more like Warcraft 3 and Naxx death knights, with black eyes and an unholy focus only. More low fantasy.

Classic Plus should have TBC talents and armor stat corrections for classes. IE Healing gear for palies should not have spirit. Should have Mp5 or crit.

What I would like to see in classic + would be better grafics, smoother (class) ui, some more items (soulbound stun/utility options that dont require ingi; extended cooking, gatherable materials for cooking) and new mobs, some new quests, a lot of relevant secrets and, most important, extended leveling zones for HORDE 10-20. Alliance has 3 zones, Horde has just Barrens. Barrens has to stay the same, f*ck the Cata version. Hillsbrad should stay in the way it existed in classic era. I'd try to extend the map not necessary into new zones but maybe into the already existing mountains.

The discussion with chat about classic+ just further supports Asmon's idea that mmo players just loves to have their time wasted by arbitrary limits

Regarding classic+, I played a pserver with mythic plus classic/tbc progression and that was really fun. If classic + comes around mythic plus would be something I would like.

Oldschool runescape is an example of a succesful "vanilla +". They reverted the game from the 2014 to exactly what it was in 2007 and kept updating the game with the same philosophy they had back then, obviously there's been power creep of what's bis but it's been more than 10 years of Oldschool Runescape at this point, and it has 4x the playerbase of the "retail" runescape. But this will never happen because blizzard would 1000000% ruin whatever they create, seeing as the only succesful product they've released in the last like 10 years is a copy of what they made 15+ years ago

With some of the changes you describe at 15:30, it will ruin the classic aspect. Once, you knew who the best tank was, cause you saw him in the capital and tales were told. That was amazing! With cross realm, transfers, or dual specs etc, you loose that instantly. Some of the main reasons why I love classic. However, now I see cross realm and transfers. It's so bad... So bad. No one knows anyone anymore and people can act like c*nts with no accountability. Horrible inventions. I call those changes destructive quality of life changes. 18:50 - Also identity ^ And loot is scarce already, so working on two specs would make it even harder to get geared. No dual specs.
