Catch EVERYTHING, I used to only do shiny checks or catch Pokémon that I need candy for. Then I started catching every single Pokémon and now I catch a hundo every 2-3 weeks with playing consistently. Nundos on the other hand are a lot harder. I’ve only ever had 2(Munna and Noibat). I say had because I accidentally transferred both… 😔

I've played since 2016 still zero shundos my advice is to become a famous pokemon go KZfaqr and then you'll instantly get lots of shundos

The most likely way to get shundos are: 1) do community day with a big community, so u are more likely to have people report a wild hundo (kinda like it happened here) and go catch it, with the comm day boost their is a ~1/20 chances it will be shiny (so shundo). 2) do a lot of trades: lucky trades (with lucky friends) are the best way, but i recommend doing random trades with the "spare shinies" u got from a comm day

my first hundo larvitar was on a raid the day after an event where it could learn smack down. my second was on a timed research, where pupitar was one of the rewards. i got two more during larvitar classic, and hatched another hundo larvitar during hoenn tour. cant say im not prepared for mega tyranitar

In community day I found a shundo larvitar then I immediately evolved into a tyranitar but sadly I was ordering food and at the same time checking the IVs again but accidentally transferred it because I wasn't paying attention :(
