I worked as a CNA on and off for two years because I believed it was my calling working with the elderly. I loved that job but I was broke. The pay is just terrible in that field. I couldn't pay my bills which took the joy away from the job. I lost my car because I couldn't afford to keep up with it. I was like it's not God's will for me to struggle like this. I finally left that field. Maybe in the future I can go back once my finances are better and I can afford to take the paycut because that's honestly a job I would do for free. Like he says it's just not the right season. It's was a hard lesson to learn.

I definitely get it. I worked as a cna on and off too and as a bht. There is definitely a difference in pay based off where you live. I constantly see traveling contract jobs for 30+ but now you can work independently and make between 20-30+ an hour or depending on the company make 16-25+ but of course there are still so many jobs where they only pay 12-14 which is a bit frustrating. I currently started my own business and have been fulfilled in that sense.

>This is quite an interesting and informative video. Are you the type of person who will read as much as possible about potential investments and ask questions about them? If so, maybe you don't need investment advice. But if you're busy with work, kids or other responsibilities, or feel like you don't know enough about investing on your own, then you may benefit from professional investment advice.

Investment professionals offer a variety of services at a variety of prices. It is worth comparing stores. You can get investment advice from most financial institutions that sell investments, including brokerage firms, banks, mutual funds, and insurance companies. You can also hire a broker, investment adviser, accountant, financial planner, or other professional to help you make investment decisions. Some financial planners and investment advisors offer a comprehensive financial plan, evaluating all aspects of your financial life and developing a detailed strategy for reaching your financial goals.
@Ame_rodri
@Ame_rodri Жыл бұрын
Remember, there is no such thing as a free lunch. If professional financial advisers are working for you, they get paid for their efforts. Some of their rates are easier to see right away than others. But, in all cases, you should always feel free to ask questions about how and how much your investment professional is paid. I am happy that I met Mr. Sherman Williams at a seminar and since then my life has changed.

Always crunch the numbers before taking another job or making a life change. I've taken significant paycuts a few times in my career, but I was still able to pay my four walls* and whatever debt I had at those times. *At these times of change, I also changed living situations. Which meant I was looking for a room to rent which is cheaper. Point being, not only do we need to budget, but we gotta run the numbers when considering change. God may have His reasons for her being there now. Money may be worth nothing next year but she and her family survive that season by being plugged into that job God brought her to. Or there is somone that family needs to meet there. Best not to put ourselves before God as we dont know the true plans, no matter how successful and famous we are. We are not Him. Our ways are not His ways. You gave good advice but if she feels the place she is at now IS where HmThe Most High wants her, best not to talk her out of it. There are other ways they can make it work. I wonder if she fasted and prayed about it. Very little Christians fast for answers these days. And not many pray and wait for God's answer before they make huge decisions in their lives. May God bless this family. May God bless us all.

That is true. My friend was working far from home at a Christian school and then found out there was one a mile from the house. They didn't pay as much as the public school but they gave raises almost every year and she was making 45k. Unfortunately the neighborhood has changed and it was shut down. Now she is at the public school making a little more but pretty unhappy. The staff at the Christian school were like a loving family and of course she could share with the children about the Lord.

She needs to quit that job right now. It really makes me mad that Dave gives people a pass when their religion is involved. Some of these callers are drowning in debt but Dave is fine with them continuing to pay a 10% tithe to their church. These people flat out said they're living paycheck to paycheck and yet he doesn't tell her to find another job. She could go to McDonald's and get a huge pay raise. If religion wasn't involved both Dave and Ken would be screaming at her to get a better job by yesterday. Religion is damaging these people's lives and Dave won't call them out on it.
