I exaggerated a bit on the breakdown part I know, but I still stand by what I state I just didn't FEEL it as much and have that lingering effect like other songs I have heard. I'm sorry . **UPDATE**AFter hearing it for the 4th time, It's growing on me...damnit.

I feel you. Before hearing the song I was like: YEAH, my 2 beloved bands TOGETHER!!! But this means, chances are high you get very disappointed as your expectations skyrock. And at first I was like "oh damn", too much EC, too few BM. And, for me, somehow Kevins screams dont fit into this song that well. But after hearing it like 100 times now I am all RATATATA :) Also we learnt how damn well Su's voice fits into this type of music. EC gave BM the opportunity to show a different, more natural face, full of joy, and they took that chance.

It's impossible not to enjoy this song! I kid, but it did take me a few listens of the audio track just to get my head around the song structure. Once you do it flows so well with each element complementing the next. Even with some of my favourite songs I can't listen to them on repeat - but RATATATA is one of those songs I can listen to all day.

I could never do a reaction channel like this, especially when it comes to Babymetal. I have come to the conclusion that Babymetal have mastered the art of subtle hypnosis. You won’t know if you really like something from them until you have heard it a few times. Sure they have a way of hooking us right off the get go, but that changes for every person. In time, all their music will find a way to grow on you. Once that happens, it’s permanently stuck as a part of your soul. So for me personally, I have learned it’s just best to shut up and listen to the music until you fall in love with it. 😂 The hooks in this song are relentless once you keep listening to it. Makes you wonder then how many people have gotten hooked onto this song by the “Ooh Ooh” ear worm. Or maybe the “boon boon boon”. Fucking brutal dude.

I avoided the audio version until this, not knowing much about Electric Callboy except that I liked their style, and honestly I'm blown away by all of it, and guess what buddy???? It's ok that it's not your cup of tea and I always support you ❤

I feel the same way. The song is fun to listen in the car with friends or in a party but.. i didn't really feel like it's a song i wanna listen on repeat. Maybe because i was expecting something different. Maybe a bit heavier or with a hardstyle or techno breakdown like Electric Callboy usually do, but no... it's just another summer mainstream song to play on radios.

I understand what you mean and I see it's already growing on you. But it is what it is: a fun song. "Leave it all behind" is way better as a song. We call this "Song of the summer" here. It's tailored to break all the charts. And it's working. I'm having a lot of fun, by the way (unlike with some other collab I'm not going to name). 🤘🦊

I mean, it's a fair take. It reminds me of a pop songs that aren't super special, but still make it to the top of the charts. That said, I still had a lot of fun with the song, I'm just in for a fun aspect. And it did stuck to me enough to keep watching reaction for few hours now. It also gave me the same feeling I had after Pump It, it's almost too short and some parts just end too abruptly. But I like it either way!

Welcome back Cyneward.🦊🤘🔥 It's all good with your honest opinion. At least you can deny the girls were having so much fun doing this like we don't see since a very long time going back to early era. Nice you resist the temptation to react the official audio and wait for the official MV which is straight 🔥 Some reactors and fans couldn't wait for the official MV release, but you did a great job 🦊🤘🐭lol Most likely they will be playing this together at FOX_FEST Festival next weekend May 25 and 26 in Japan along with many more artists and bands such Polyphia so can't wait for the live version. The "hips don't lie" is definitely a Shakira reference. The "Fu Fu" (or more like "wu-uh wu-uh") part sounds like Backstreet Boys - Everybody female backing chorus and also I think I heard in a K-pop song, not sure which one. Btw I thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that, we'll see in the live version. Love the euro trance elements mixed with metal, they also did it with Time Wave, one of my favorite BM song from latest album The Other One. There's probably more references but I'm so far away from pop culture that i probably missing a lot more. Cool to see you around and see you next time. Kitsune up!🦊🤘🔥

Cyneward, you made very valid points. You feel how you feel. I disagree, but that's cool. We are all allowed to have our own opinions. There are some BabyMetal songs out there that just don't quite hit for me also, but other people will die on the hills that those songs are amazing. That's ok, we all have you tastes. This song was very different then Leave it all Behind, but i still think the song got done what it wanted to accomplish.

Don't sweat the negative comments. I see you already kinda got one. There were a few BM songs early on that took a few listens to get. I disliked Awadama Fever for quite a while.

my boyfriend hates baby metal (sadly) but loves EC. In his opinion it is one of the more boring songs from EC which is fine. I enjoy this song very much tho and it is on repeat since yesterday xD I just like the fact that both Su and Nico sound so lovely together and overall had so much fun in this. Also both bands seem to got out of their comfort zone... It just sounds so different and refreshing.

MY problem is I just cannot get into Babymetal which is weird as a metalhead. Kami Band is good, but the idol feel just doesn't work with me. If I want an idol band, I prefer Blackpink. And for meal, it's Lovebites for me.

For me the totally wild party party beat was a part of the breakdown, so for me it did not last 5 seconds. OK, I understand that we have different opinions. But, that is my opinion. For me it worked totally well. But, what did NOT work well for me was the ending. Just as the party was accelerating and we was into a sick party jamming it just stopped. Several bands do this today, probably to keep the song within a length that radio will accept. But for me, if you are in a sick groove and everything is going just fine, then I want it to go on some more. Anyhow, this was a totally fantastic colab, and I did chose to not let that irritating fact stop me from thinking so. So, I think you shall come over the irritating bit and just feel the groove!

An example of this was the official video of Automatic Sun by The Warning. A totally sick song and performance. Even though it was studio audio. But the ending? Yes it was effective but my soul just continued forward at full speed, through the wall and I had to go out to search for it. Please artists, don't do this!

My experience with Electric Callboy is, a lot of songs will grew on you, except you are not happy with the entire structure. _Spaceman_ _Arrow of Love_ needed to grow on me, and they did. On the other side _fckboi_ never grew on me, because I was never a fan of pop punk. I think this was a really good collaboration. The didn't invent the wheel again. But it is fun, they had fun. I have fun with this song.

I know the feeling. After I heard the audio only versions of the songs I got zhe impression that it was too much an electric Callboy song. But with the video the perspective changes extremly. I get extremly violent lord of the rings impressions. They had to use extremly false perspective shots. The girls are simply to tiny compared to electric Callboys abd the girls are simply to perfect compared to the guys. It is totally obvious that the girls have spend time in actors schools. They can act and they have poker faces. I presume they had different plans for the video but they hD to fix zhe obvious problems.

It is so difficult to please and have to like something for everyone, I thought it was great, both bands enjoyed it, I don't know if you felt disconnected at times, but it is your perception among millions, the majority who react, it is very easy for them to raise the thumb or lower it, and they have no talent other than turning on a camera and monetizing with other people's content, if you were someone with their ability, at their level, I would give you the benefit of the doubt, but it just came out, and you already found a hair in the soup, please... FUCK IT !!!
