This was one of the first disney movies I've ever watched. At first, I didn't know why, but the songs on this movie where so good for me even when I was a kid, and I finally know why, I felt identified with the lyrics, it represents hard moments in life, and that sometimes you just want to say how you feel when a situation gets out of hand, and that sometimes in life we need the encouragement and support of others to face those difficulties. This movie will always have a special meaning on my memory, so it's great to see people giving this movie the tribute that it deserves. Beautiful Work !

This movie deserves a lot of tribute. When I was littler, I got sick at least once each month, then I started watching this movie, and it helped me start feeling better because of how much it improved my mood. Turns out, when I first started watching the movie, it was the start of me getting better. It became my favorite movie because of how I related to the main character and because of how it helped me stay positive through my sickness.

Fun fact: one of the first disney movies my siblings and I saw was "The Little Mermaid". But for me, Piglet's Big Movie & The Aristocats will always be my top favorite disney films of all time. This one however, is another personal favorite as well.

And if there was a Treasure Planet and Little Mermaid crossover, Jim and Melody had a son together, and named their son John, after John Silver. Who saved Jim’s life and taught him to chart his own course, and stick to it.

This is my all-time favorite Disney movies. And because of this character, I started getting really serious about drawing and going from stick figures to that style of animation. And one of the characters are created in that drawing was a fanfiction adoptive daughter of Jim Hawkins, that I call Carrie.

I have always related this song since I listen fourth grade I felt amazing experience of what it meant the adventures of being a pirate and a scavenger not to mention the music of John Rzenik was amazing.

And don't think I didn't notice how you put Jim waking up to his dad leaving to the exact part of the bridge of the song just like the movie did. That was smooth ASF. While I got you here I was wondering if you'd look into "I Stand Alone" from quest for camelot, "Go The Distance" from Hercules or even put a male spin on "Reflection" from Mulan. I think your voice would compliment those real nice.

4:02 I love how that last "I'M STILL HERE...!" sounds (like if you close your eyes and listen) closer to somebody cheering with their fist raised, something like that. That's the vibe I get when I listen to it---yeah, dude, how do ya manage to make it more uplifting than the original??? Way impressive

Haha that's a cool way of looking at it. "I'm Still Here" meaning I've made it this far, I'm still alive, and I'm going to keep going. Great interpretation! As far as the music theory goes, I changed the melody to go up at the end instead of down, so that's probably what makes it feel more uplifting. Also I ended the song on a IV chord instead of the Tonic chord. So rather than feeling like it's coming to close, it feels like it's not finished ^-^
