Rules: Complete the game while not taking any staggers or damage from enemies or traps. Environmental or self hits/damage are allowed, including fall damage. There is a required death at the beginning of the game which is not counted as a hit because it is needed for progression.

randomizer names always get me. 31:37 some amazing examples: Morgott the All Knowing, Ancestor Spirit, The Omen King, Dragonkin Soldier, First Elden Lord, and of course, the MvPs, Cavalry, Warrior, and the fabled Fire Garis

One of my favorites I saw in a run was Dist2 trying this, went to Volcano Manor the Lucaria way, and the boss at the end, Abductor Gideon Ofnir. I don't know why that was so funny but it was, and still is

@@filthycasual8074 you don’t have to be good at something to gain notice. You just have to follow an algorithm. Most people who sub to those channels are subbing for the mods they do. Like calamite and all the other crazy ass mods to the game. And those churn through the algorithm better than “standard” gameplay. It’s an unfortunate reality about people’s attention spans, and of KZfaq.

This was a fun run to watch, because it's more unpredictable compared to a normal no hit run, which often are kind of the same everytime normally. Also, the fact that there is room for improvement means we have something to root for. Definitely hope you'll do more of these.

I always consider the difference between traditional and randomizer no hit runs is down to what knowledge is needed, in traditional, you need to know what path to take to be efficient as possible from getting from Point A (Starting from wherever) to Point B (where you have to go next as one of the many steps) and you know who is up next and where they are and an estimate of how its gonna go so you prepare before the fight. But with randomizer, it comes down to how well you know the enemies and their attacks and how to avoid their attacks and how to kill them quickly and smoothly, you don't know who is coming up so you don't know how to prepare for them. Ultimately a randomizer is the most fun out of all speedruns because its always a guess of who is where, what you find at X spot, do you find what is normally there or is it something entirely different? It never stays the same and its fun to be confused and lost trying to find what is where.

I believe I can sum your comment up easy. Basically, it is rigidity vs flexibility. A no hit run takes dedication, knowledge, and planning. A randomizer takes that knowledge and asks, "But could you do the same in a different scenario?" Someone who can do that is on another level.

I feel like one of the worst ways to lose a no hit rando run would be radahn replacing a world boss and just sniping your ass before his health bar even appears. Happened to me once when he replaced the omenkiller boss in the albinauric village. Scared the life outta me. (I wasn't trying to no-hit)

Randomizers are always fun. Especially with the items being anywhere. The runs are never the same, and it kinda forces you to do a surprise build with whatever you got.

Something about the 4 boss sequence at the end was so cool. The way the dragonkin soldier faded out as the calvary rode in, Gideon being dripped out in a great arena, Hoarah Loux where he belongs. Fantastic run.

If you are looking for feedback- you can talk more about the run, the challenges that you are going to face, solve etc. basically talk more about the game, run and mechanics. Currently most videos are like basically twitch vods and don’t really feel like youtube videos. Cheers
