In my opinion, unopened wax continues to be one of the strong plays out there to make money on mainly because of the wide varieties of people constantly after it: wax collectors, rippers, investors, dealers/hobby shops (for restocking) and group breakers. Not to mention the simple fact of supply and demand, supply dwindling is a constant. The challenge will be for you to replicate your great Select football buy and flip.

How are things going on the bigger cards you bought in early 2021? I feel like flipping is getting quite difficult and we're back into investing long term and collecting as the main base of the platform.

Hey bro. Yeah man. Lots of the football cards I bought in the off-season have been tough to move. Mahomes obviously went down, Lamar optic holos barely above what I paid in spite of good play, and the hakeems and jeters have dropped in value. I think it’s the super high end which which are going up in value while everything else is all over the place

@@TheComebackCardInvestor Ya it's been tough, I would say 80% of the money I spent the last 6-8 months are long term holds, but most of the things I tried to flip have flopped lol....it's tough out there for flipping now.

Kyle Connor was such a good investment for you. He is a nice player, and he'll be on the USA Olympic team in a few months. Hopefully you find some new hockey players to invest in.

Just watched a video on how card flipping is dead and his the card market is going to keep going down…. What’s your take on that ?

I’d have to see the video but with affordable grading being suspended and taxes/fees cutting into profits which have already dwindled, I see full time flipping being something that will have to happen in person or on IG with lots of transactions versus just selling on major platforms

Hey man. Great video. Quick question…..I’ve been selling on COMC and I’ve made about $1,000. I’ve noticed that due to competition, lower end cards, even rookies, can sell for less than 50 cents. This means I’m taking an L on those cards. Do you have a minimum dollar amount on cards that you send to COMC? Do you check COMC prices on cards before you send them? I’ve noticed that CoMC prices seem to be below EBay. Thanks man.

Do you still flip for a living full time? Man I can only imagine going forward how tough that would consistently be. Do you think the re-opening of PSA grading at affordable prices will stop the bleeding in the hobby and kick start it to what it was? Do you think PSA sorta killed the hobby by closing down? Things were so different just a year ago.

If you're running out of inventory bought before the boom perhaps it's time to focus on content. Besides the adsense revenue the more subs you have likely the more you'll make via sports card investor affiliation.

Wait, its no longer possible to make money in sports cards..... how did you make some?... :) All it takes is for people to go long some of these over hyped QB prospects who could be gone from the NFL in 2-3 years..... and gradually folks learn their lesson and stop ....thus, cards stop their goofy trajectories after a single 300 yard passing game with 3 TD's..... human beings are the only species who hit the same rock twice but after 4 or 5 times even we can learn our lesson.... prospecting is dangerous with power bill money. So sealed wax is an obvious bright spot.
