Reflect - A year ago last Monday, I found Steven Furtick, and found Elevation Church and both through these discoveries my life has changed. I was at a time where I felt distant from God and not really knowing why. My wife is from Canada and at the time we were going through the immigration process, with no help, and paying out of my own pocket. I had been raised in church, but never really realized just how contingent my faith was. Contingent on finances, my job situation, relationships, etc. Steven Furtick opened my eyes to the fact that I need to fully submit my life to Christ, not just be saved by Him, but also be changed by Him. Therefore, I quit my job, and am currently pursuing my passion as a streamer. Not to work at home, not to make any more money, but to have the constant and daily opportunity to reflect the Glory of God by spreading his joy, his love, and his strength to new strangers that I meet everyday. I've had further revelations throughout this year and new journey that have shown me that I need to reflect his Glory on a daily basis, not just in a job environment, but also to my wife, and my church. He has shown me that there is no end to Reflection, and therefore I will continue to go forward and strive to reflect the Righteousness of the Lord. Thank you Steven Furtick and Elevation Church for making me realize that I now need to get involved with your church, and giving me the chance to give, however big or small that may be, for it is an opportunity yet again to Reflect the Glory of God. I recall last year when God, put it inside me to tide to this church. The devil was working overtime to make sure that I didn’t. If I was moved to give my cards would be out out of reach and as I got closer to give I found out that all my cards had went missing after attending a family function for Christmas. I'm the one. When you started this series about availability I was consumed. I've been following you for 2+ years and have watched some of your uploads over and over and over. I've been saved since I was 21 and am now 42, so half my life. I've been all over the place but never rooted in my faith. When I first heard your sermons I was floored. The first message hooked me. God revived a passion for Him inside of me like never before. I don't own a computer so I'm not on e groups. My phone has no data and no storage so I'm limited to how involved I am with your ministry and I'm a disabled stay at home mom that doesn't receive disability benefits so I cannot tithe to your ministry. I do thank God that all of our needs are met. I used to write how impacted I was by your ministry on your facebook post and you tube videos. However, I didn't want you to think about me like you have been audible about that you look in the records and see no where where I've contributed financially. However, I do contribute time. I am forever sharing your videos and telling people to watch them. When I first started watching you my marriage was in shambles (actually I was divorced), my mental health was tragic (like when you talk about the "that's crazy people", that was me. In addition I had no hope, no joy, no satisfaction and weighed close to 282 lbs. I slept, eat and sat while I pretend shopped online. My life was hideous. Through your messages, the power of prayer, learning how to truly seek God and being enveloped by His love my life has done a complete 180. So to all of you able to tithe to this ministry so I can stream Pastor Furtick from my cheap old Galaxy Mega to a $20 Google chromecast on my TV I can say with sincerity from the depths of my soul that I truly appreciate your offering. I pray blessings over you. I pray you find the joy and peace that I have. God didn't restore my marriage because my marriage was horrible. God has given me a whole new life with my husband. Watching this now, a year later.. I watch this Pastor an his sweet wife everyday. I started watching him little under a year. At first I would just catch the small messages he posted. Then I was busy taking care of the house, my husband who had cancer an just all kind of thing's I was trying to take care of.. I lost my Husband back in April of this year... I was headed down an evil road of drugs! I overdosed on a drug I said I would never try! When I awoke in the ambulance I could not believe what had happened to me! I never would have done this drug intentionally, but what I had bought had been laced with it!! When the paramedics told me that I had died, I lost all hope of ever having my life back as I was used to! But, through this horrible tragedy in my life, I found God! He gave me another chance and I will continue to live my life through Jesus Christ!
