You could have used the 1st employed, "larger bubbles," rolled wrap to sleep on, & saved yourself much time _(AND_ effort!) that way. As it was ALREADY "full width," you wouldn't have needed to worry about it pulling apart beneath you, either! That curry looked yummy! I must look for THAT SAUCE - or something like it - here in Northern California! Really enjoy your (copious quantities - enough for 2-3 people) meals & recipes!

Regarding firewood prep, two issues have caught my attention over a number of videos. As a camper, it was my practice to drag manageable lengths of boles, sometimes two or more at a go, back to camp and cut them to usable firewood length at or near the campsite. This reduced the number of trips to collect the wood. Second, the folding wooden bucksaw in use appears to either need sharpening or a new blade, or perhaps the blade lacks a sufficiently aggressive toothset for a rough-cut field saw. Or so it appears from several thousand miles (several thousand more km) away.

Bubble wrap makes great window insulation. It keeps the warm air in during winter and keeps the cool air in in the summer . Cut the bubble wrap to fit the winter. Apply water to the flat side and press over window. It still lets light in but with the price of electricity it helps keep the air out of old drafty windows. Easy to put up, easy to take down.

A few good things about a bubble wrap tent- 1-they are naturally insulated 2-you can't get hurt if it falls in on you 3-if you hear a noise late at night just pop a few bubbles. It sounds like small arms fire and should scare away any animal and human

As a family we camped approximately 2 weekends per month, every month. Tent camping and then a homemade RV from a retired School bus my father and I age 6 or 7 yrs old worked a whole summer together to complete. Every time we took the rv out, we had offers for purchase left on the window, it was that nice! Special to me was all the time my father spent 1 on 1 teaching me skills and then camping skills. Until he past from Alzheimers at 74. Now my camping days are over except in extreme necessity ! The only thing missing in this video is a bit of water, lake, river or creek and spending time Fishing….it aint camping if it doesn’t include some serious fishing , otherwise why bother??? I ❤

I would like to make a suggestion, especially while camping or even at home. I would make the batter for the chicken in that lg baggie, then drop chick into the batter, less dishes to wash and hands stay clean. You could also do it with the bread crumbs after removing the battered chicken, drop into crumbs with tongs then into frying pan to fry. So essy, less mess, no clean-up and can toss bags in trash. Presto......Cleano.....done! I hope you try this, it helps. Ive so enjoyed your videos, pls keep 'em coming. I along with so many others enjoy your experiences and meals, ive even tried making a few....delish!!!

That would be a fun project for kids to do in summer. 😂 It didn't look comfortable at all. The chicken looked nice. I hope you got a good nights rest after that. 😂

If there're any viewers from Wisconsin who have the means, you should send Andy a sixer of Spotted Cow. I've never met anyone who doesn't like it, and most say it's "the" best beer they've ever had. I'm not a big drinker, but I do agree. It is the best.

The creation of shelters made of polyethylene film is very widespread in our forests. Often people leave these structures in the forest and they pollute nature. Naturally, the trunks of thin trees are used as the material of the frame. However, the most interesting is the saunas made of plastic film. This requires stones the size of a human’s head. These stones are heated for a long time at a large fire, and then put into a tent of plastic film. Boil water in parallel. Naked people go inside the structure and pour boiling water on hot stones, producing steam. When it becomes difficult to withstand the heat, they go out and rush into the snow if it is winter, or in cold water. Then they return back again. This procedure strengthens the blood vessels and helps to cleanse the body.

Just a word. My wife wanted to try the Cumberland sausages. After months of searching we found a local butcher that made us some. Wonderful stuff Thanks ! 2 years of watching you enjoy them and she had to do something to try em.

I made a wall tent out of PVC and tarps long ago. It ended up serving as a community shelter when it rained and snowed the entire trip. It was a lot to haul around and store in the off season.
