MSG is not actually bad for you. That was a myth that was intentionally spread. Just to quell any concerns: MSG is monosodium glutamate. Monosodium just is an singular sodium ion, the exact same ion as in table salt (which is sodium chloride). Glutamate is an amino acid that our bodies literally produces on their own.

I saw another creator make clear ketchup, and his trick was to re-do the egg lift over and over to lift the color. So after the first yellow batch, you could have boiled it again, added another egg lift and it would have gotten lighter. Time to try again!!

The next time (if there's gonna be a next time) don't add that amount of cheddar extract. The bottle says "food use level: 1%" so you had to add 1 milliliter for 100 milliliters of water, so, for the amount of jelly you used you had to put like 20 DROPS of cheddar extract, you put easily 15 or 20 times the maximum you should add, that's why the cheese burned and smell that strong, and actually, I hope you didn't get sick, that amount was could be dangerous

Too lazy to google it, but it's not as bad as many people think Still, it should be eaten in moderation, sodium is still something that shouldn't have too high a level

when you have something like frosting for cakes or white chocolate or something thats like a yellowed white but you want them to be more neutral and less yellow, you can often use a little purple foodcoloring to balance out the yellow since its oppposite purple on the color wheel, i wonder if thats something that could be implemented here to make things look even more clear.

First time viewer! You're so much fun! The chaotic energy is amazing lol Also MSG is completely safe, it's also very cool and has a pretty deep history. It actually has it's own taste called Umami (so like, sweet, sour, bitter, salty and umami!). It has this whole negative aura around it because racism lol. It's an Asian product and was hated on for it.

fyi MSG is perfectly fine! just use it like you would salt. If you use say a tsp of salt for a sauce use half salt half msg and adjust as needed. It's 'bad' if you use too much, just like salt is :) this was also a wild idea, kudos lmao

MSG isn't necessarily bad for you, but it is a form of sodium, so if you eat too much you will be thirsty as hell and might get a dehydration headache.

MSG doesn't appear to be bad (it should go without saying, in moderation, like everything in life.) In fact, it is suggested to reduce the need for salt. It is a substance found in nature (through fermentation.) There are anecdotes of sensitivity, self reported, not clinical. At least what they've found so far, doesn't mean it's good for you either. My 2 cents 😊
