I’m thinking “Nimbus Spirit” would be a good name for the Cloud Dudes, they should also be rideable using saddles, possibly special kinds of saddle only found in some sky temples, OR, just a normal saddle infused with the ingots of Cloud Ores.

I think it would make more sense for the rain filled clouds to appear before it starts raining instead of after as 1. It would then be a great way for players to know when it's about to rain and 2. That's, well, how the water cycle works..

When you walk inside the clouds, everything should look foggy. The cloud shouldn’t just disappear. This would be very helpful for map makers.

You could make the "cloud dudes" drop their wings, and make a crafting recipe to make "wing boots" to give you slow falling all the time with them equipped.

It's like a mix of 1.17 features... the clouds are basically powdered snow and the rain is like the copper. That being said, I've wanted a standalone cloud mod since 2012.

Cloud Ore must be “vapor crystal” with you can evoque rain when crack it, or make a potion to float for some seconds.

Maybe cloud ore can be made to make armor that can let you basically walk on air (as long as you are on or were on a cloud) and when paired with the enchantment (or one similar to) frost walker can let you make clouds as you walk It can also be used to make something that makes the cloud dudes (or Flouds! Wisps, Brezzes [pronounced Breeses] etc. or any of the other names people have made for them) docile towards players and things to ride and tame them :) among other things (I really like this mod if it wasn't obvious lmao)

New idea: •grimoire: every grimoire has an element that allows you to do certain thing. •wind: amplified knock back damage and distance. •Water: slows mobs •ice: stun mobs and dwindle a monsters health the longer they are frozen. •fire: burn damage thag chips away at enemy health aslong as they are on fire. •earth: create giant rocks that pull in blocks to deal additional damage. Lava: similar to earth and fire, being able to set the earth on fire and the blocks it pulls in aswell, dealing both forms of damage. Summoning: any mob you've killed you can summon them over and over as a companion. Dark: drains you enemies health and give it to the user. (And more that can be added)

Honestly a Sky-Update would be a bit interesting

I feel like when you mount Cloud Dude, you should be able to control the direction you go while slowly gliding down, but not how fast you fall or anything, only change left and right. Then once Cloud Dude touches a block, you're automatically dismounted.

Love how you constantly develop updayes for minecraft that are actually fun and useful yet they take forever to make one.. keep up the great work.. also a cloud ore name could be "skyminium ore".. or something, allowing you to create a new feature and a new crafting recipe as long as a cloud crafting table thing, adding a skiminium ingot added to any boots iron and up gives you double jump (with a cloud under your second jump for cool looks) as well as skyminium armor and tools, allowing you to have permanent but controllable slow falling, hitting an enemy with a skyminium hammer or something makes them levitate and hit the ground plus the attack damage.. giving more to the update-

You could have used the whole sky. Above traditional cloud height, there's plenty of space for different cloud layers until the building limit. Each layer could have its own thing, its own style. When I played Minecraft for the first time I thought clouds were solid and I tried to stand to it and it went down hill... LITERALLY!

You just got a new subscriber! I have some suggestions for the cloud ore and cloud dude. Cloud dude should be called the Cloud guardian. He pushes you off the clouds to protect them, and will follow you until you give up and leave. Also, if you kill a cloud guardian, he will drop a cloud apple. When you eat it, you will gain the ability to fly. And for the cloud ore.... When mined, there is a 5% chance of it dropping a sky crystal. If you craft a certain amount, (your choice) you can get the cloud wings, which allow you to fly, and the cloud dudes will not attack you. Another thing the cloud wings can do is make the weather rain by pressing shift and right clicking. To undo, do it again. Anyways, back to the cloud ore. Cloud ore does 7 damage when crafted into a sword. When you make cloud armor, you will no longer freeze (Same thing with the cloud wings)! I hope you like my ideas!

I actually really like the cloud idea - one of your better ones. I feel like the Cloud Guys would be just as hated at the phantom though, and seeing as you're one of the many people who never stops going on about them, I was surprised to see you add it (If you wanted a new mob up there, I'd consider the illusioner). I like the idea of being able to walk on clouds with a special enchantment, but I think it should be it's own unique thing, like Soul Speed. I've thought of the idea of floating islands in the Overworld before, basically content you would be able to get after you get an elytra, so perhaps that's where the cloud walker enchantment could come from. The soaked cloud idea seems interesting, but I think 'Dense cloud' sounds better. In an earlier video you showed off a cloud-in-a-bottle idea, so I think it would be cool if that was a thing you could only get through the dense clouds. Although it would be more realistic to have the freeze effect applied when you're really high up, I can see that being super annoying for people who enjoy buildings tall structures or want to have a mountain base, and something I can't imagine Mojang would make us endure. Also, I get that you're trying to appeal to all sorts of players, but the clouds would not be as handy as you would think for redstone, since we already have cobwebs and powder snow. It's fine though. XD
