Being 100% honest here, after a solid playtesting era (so I'd say 6 months) and some artistic tweaks you should absolutely pitch this to Scott. Maybe add some holographic cards or something to help with collectability? People would love to collect these. I would love to collect these, and I'm not huge on merch.

Not usually a card game kind of guy but this I genuinely want to try.

The energy system is such a genius idea. It skips the early game of building up resources (magic, hearthstone, pokemon) and at the same time prevents the other extreme of watching your opponent play solitaire for 15 minutes (yugioh). Really hope this becomes a big thing. One advice i will give (as someone who has made my own card game), dont be too quick with balancing/banning cards, sometimes it just takes time for people to figure out effective counterplay. Best of luck, now i gotta go read the rule book

I suspect the game-board not being able to be properly implemented in Untap could be substituted with cards tied to different parts of the game-board. There could maybe be cards in "Starts in Play" that handle different tiles. 2 halls, 1 vent, 1 or 2 office card(s) depending on odd-shaped/sized cards. This is also assuming you can stack cards onto each other. I also want to mention the card designs. The current ones I feel are good, though one thing I don't like is how noisy the background is. I also want to mention that maybe the card sets could be designed around the era. The indie era feels indie, while the Steelwool era feels more big studio like, and the other media could look like book pages, film stuff, and merch packaging depending on the media.

I ain't really into to "Discord games", I.E. games where you have to actively search out to find people to play with, in ya know places like Discord. Hopefully this somehow manages to blow up because stuff like this is cool and I would love to see something like this succeed.

This looks cool af! One mistake I noticed though, on the Michael Afton (corpse) card, it says 'doesn't' instead of 'isn't' at the end.

When this card is played, search your deck for a card with "Afton" or "-trap" in its name, reveal it and add it to your hand | Office Human/Adult Flumpty: 60% | JP-3 "Hi!" This card is treated as having [Chicken] type | Once per turn, you can sacrifice 10% power to move this card to an open spot on your side of the board | Omni Boss/??? Adventure Purpleguy: 50% | JP-2 "I take 10 seconds to draw!" Once per turn, flip a coin. Just a small thing, I would actually prefer the wording, single use effect rather than once per turn. This will be more clear that you can't summon it out from the salvage and use the card's effect.

i love all your fnaf videos the theories have a lot of thought behind them and the what if fnaf stuff like the tcg you came up with.

I'm building starter decks for the night of deck building and I'll let you know how play testing goes. People may get a little too fucked up for a TCG, but should be fun all the same.

Also, if this game become popolar enough, you (or anyone for you) should consider Tabletop Simulator. Don't require any programming skill, and with the ambient customatitation you could both gave the game a physical board and make it prettier

So, this caught my eye, and I really liked it, even if I haven't played it yet, due to the complex rules, and im still learning it, the idea is so fun, I mean, a FNaF card game, that is really creative, and I don't know if thats a big of a deal, but, if some character renders for the cards are necessary, I COULD do that, but idk if its THAT necessary, I just really think it would be fun to do that.

Cool. So uh; I know you hoped you weren't "hitting a hornets nest" by asking for feedback on the card designs, but uh..... This might be helpful to know sooner than later: Have you noticed how the gradient background of the green balls makes it hard to differentiate cards with 0% cost from 10%-30% costs from a distance? The 1s, 2s, and 3s in black text are kind of lost in the black side of the gradient; maybe changing the "0%" font colour from black to white would be enough of a fix.

I think this has so much potential for success because it reminds me a ton of a game called undercards, an undertale inspired cars game. That game got a lot of success and I think this could too Edit: I also just came up with an idea for fcg set 4. Maybe you could focus on fan related content. Stuff like fangames and famous youtubers such as matpat

Not going to lie this looks great! Hope the game is updated even after Card Set 3 as the FNAF canon continues to introduce new characters. If the game gets big enough putting it in Tabletop Simulator probably wouldn’t be a bad idea, it would also allow you to design a proper board for the game as well.

I think it would really help the game take off if you would make a discord server for it. It can help people get along and play together.

Have you ever thought about using the drawing function to draw the board for a personal reference? Like outline a card 5x for the main zones and 2x for the deck (probably not needed) and salvage zone?

28:56 perhaps you can use the drawing function to recreate the map. Draw the rectangles (the spaces) that the cards go in. That way it will be easier visually for players

Cubes are a strange MTG format where you create a set of cards from your collection to draft with your friends. Typically 360 cards per 8 people or fraction thereof in the cube league [5o different mono-color cards, 50 multi-color cards, 30 colorless cards and 30 non-basic lands] they get shuffled and dealt into 15 card random boosters [or made into boosters of 2 cards of each color, 2 multicolor cards, 2 colorless and 1 land] and you play a draft or sealed deck, using the cards in your draft/sealed pool and any number of basic lands to make a 40+ card deck

You should invert the colors on the power bar. It's visually confusing for 10% power to be green, but 90% to be red, unless excess power is bad.
