About One Hour One Life
This game is about playing one small part in a much larger story. You only live an hour, but time and space in this game is infinite. You can only do so much in one lifetime, but the tech tree in this game will take hundreds of generations to fully explore.
This game is also about family trees. Having a mother who takes care of you as a baby, and hopefully taking care of a baby yourself later in life. And your mother is another player. And your baby is another player. Building something to use in your lifetime, but inevitably realizing that, in the end, what you build is not for YOU, but for your children and all the countless others that will come after you. Proudly using your grandfather's ax, and then passing it on to your own grandchild as the end of your life nears.
And looking at each life as a unique story. I was this kid born in this situation, but I eventually grew up. I built a bakery near the wheat fields. Over time, I watched my grandparents and parents grow old and die. I had some kids of my own along the way, but they are grown now... and look at my character now! She's an old woman. What a life passed by in this little hour of mine. After I die, this life will be over and gone forever. I can be born again, but I can never live this unique story again. Everything's changing. I'll be born as a different person in a different place and different time, with another unique story to experience in the next hour...

Yet again... I saw the notification in email and thought this was an email from my brother just updating me on how his thanksgiving was. “Made a friend, started an illegal tattoo parlor...” sounds about right.

After FOUR failed attempts to make a tattoo kit from scratch (Twice died from mosquitoes and once died from wolf and one other attempt in which I didn't have all the ingredients lol) I finally tattooed someone for the first time and I got one too! I would have demanded two since I got the black dye BUT I was super old so gave away the rest of tatts to a younger woman. 😂 It took me so long to get right but I felt accomplished since I finally got it right on the fifth try! Buuuuuuut I almost didn't make a kit because I was holding the mango leaf and clicking on the dye bowl before my fiance told me it was the other way round (have to POUR the black dye OVER the leaf for some reason) 🤣 had me stumped for like ten minutes. Great life, love love LOVE tattoos it's my new favourite thing to do in OHOL

i tried it once and couldnt make it because i didnt shift click😂 i thought shift click is for killing, but apparently it is for targeting players

Yeah I think the shift click thing is an oversight. From what I can tell the tattoo needles are coded as weapons that don't cause wounds, which is also why people gasp when you target them.

I've tattooed IRL for 15 years, and it is NO where near this difficult to train apprentices! :)

Yes!! Tattooing is really fun and this town is great! Also not going to lie respect for doing it in a non specialst skin tone translating almsot gives me aneurysm lol

I'm not playing the game because I'm kinda busy and when I play I wanna play for hours, although I never miss your videos =D, and I'm enjoying the Change gameplays as well,

I was In this town! The roads to places pleased me so much. It was a wonderful place and a wonderful life till all the murders. I feel like we need an language update again... how can you communicate if everyone speaks other languages.... I know your supposed to be able to learn but it's not efficent... you should be able to learn over time I feel no matter how old

It's the way it is because in real life there is a time frame in where baby's learn to talk. They learn the languege people talk around them, so it works the same way in the game.

@@Moon-tz1iy It takes a couple generations in order for two family to speak each others languages completely, even more if it is not being taught and just learned though babys over hearing things. That's why there is a family that knows all languages in the new update, so they can act as translators for trade.

@@Moon-tz1iy But the update solves your problem I think You are confused because I said family instead of race. That's there specialisation, instead of an area like jungle, destert, or snow they have language.

I was the one who moved into that house and i died in that house with my 2 adult kids by my side the third got shot by a bow and the 4th got shot by a bow oh and the third and fourth where twins

Every family has their own 'language'. When you speak your family members see normal text, but for all other families the syllables are scrambled. Over several generations, if you live together, less and less syllables get scrambled and eventually you become fluent in their language.
