can I use fortran to make a game similar to fornite? Fortran and fortnite sound similar to each other so I think that would possible right?

I think it will be easier to create a new language called Fortnite and write Fortnite in Fortnite, than develop it in Fortran

If you really want to - you can just take my code and compile it into executable file (depending on your OS it would be different). I use gfortran compiler. Here is this repo on GH - github.com/am2601/fortran-game

Assembly in my opinion is very time consuming, because you don't have any prepared things, you need to implement everything on your own. So it's very inefficient to write modern programs in it.
