I think games like this would do well by not being nft so much as "I made this, it's $3 for the module". It's like having a 3D printer and find something I want but wouldn't take time to design myself. Then after that its more an honour system of not reuploading that work for $2 instead of $3. I guess point being, if you make it, you should be allowed to sell that file to everyone not just a single person. And with an actual platform they could make it more difficult to copy and sell that file if not the creator.

Questionable. Yes, NFT phenomena is a bubble, yes, metaverse is a vague concept yet to obtain an actual significance. I think this, is not sarcasm. But I play The Sandbox and: 1. IT's NOT PLAY TO EARN 2. NFTs are involved, in the way they should, even though there's a bubble on NFT market generally. 3. NFT is a tech, not dumb monkeys. Game assets in The Sandbox have a decent cost if compared with mainstream monkeys, (no reason anyways to compare them) because they're GAME ASSETS in first place, then, if you're a known designer, are collectables too. 4. The Sandbox is so far the ONLY game developed on blockchain that has a sustainable tho yet to fully develop game economy, bc it's not p2e in case u haven't read above. 5. The Sandbox is admitting the PLAYERS to create Value for other players through creating in-game experiences, in the same way Minecraft does. Obviously it's not Minecraft (it can be anything else infact) and has not the numbers of Minecraft. 6. Yet, it consents the Creators to be rewarded by the Players in a different way than YT views or twitch interactions, but to be paid directly. If this was possible in Minecraft, il mango and Mumbo Jumbo would be rich as f*ck because of _you_ buying directly from them the best iron farm or redston contraption, in the form of an NFT, and don't say "hell no" cuz you'll be lying. I started the discussion on Twitter below Mumbo's tweet arguing that a guy stole his contents, and not the ideas for the contraptions only, but the whole content of the video. I said NFTs could easily fix this, both into the videogame for the intellectual property of a machine design, than on the internet for video contents. Many 16 years old suckers came to yell at NFS like you're doing, and they were the same supporting Mumbo for having his work being stolen, and I was giving (them) Mumbo reason, bc stealing someone's efforts is unfair. this experience, and reading your comment with its 150 likes, leads me to some conclusions: 7. Don't talk about something you don't know 8. Get informed from several sources in order to know something 9. This is not the Sports Pub where everyone is licensed to bullsh!t on anything 10. Unless you're a certified expert or practicant in something, start with the assumption you don't know enough of it 11. According to the point above, try starting your sentences with "I.M.H.O. In My Humble Opinion". People should be willing to listen a sentence starting with an IMO. 12. Shut the f*ck up about things you don't know Thank you very much. :)

@@bonovoxel7527 this is fantastic, I wouldn't call NFT's a bubble though the tech is just now breaking through the art side of NFT'S could be a bubble but NFT's will be used in so many different ways in the future art was just the first instalation of what they could do.

@@Axelsrose I kinda live on KZfaq and watch literally all sorts of stuff from tech to old retro gaming equipment to russian snipers lol. But the one thing that always creeps up in gaming circles is NFTS every news outlet every channel everyone knows it's bad and complete trash yet it grows day by day and none stops it because no one will speak up about it or try to do something about it. Hopefully this will get him to open his eyes to it. I only did it cause I care for him otherwise I'd just let him shoot himself in the foot.

I have no problem with metaverse games, there have been good ones before, however NFTs are just bad and nobody could convince me otherwise. (Not that anyone here likes them enough to even try.)

Also that the design of this game seems to be very much in the Roblox style, so very enticing to children who can be easily conned and scammed. To say nothing of the way children are conned and scammed on Roblox itself's exploitive make-to-earn model (and Blackmarket). Check out PeopleMakeGame's 2 excellent videos diving into that whole mess if you're curious. Love your content RCE! Just want to caution against sponsorships like this and say I will not be supporting any similar product.

@@yngndrw. I'm absolutely with everyone who is upset about this sponsor, but I just have to say sometimes people 'need' money, or else their life as they know it gets risked. I live through that every day, can only just barely afford rent and bills and i had to spend my entire tax return + half of my savings on a new car or else I wouldn't have transportation to and from work rendering me homeless. I don't know RCE's situation, but considering he seems to be doing KZfaq as a living, maybe they offered up more money than he could pass up on. I hate that he sponsored NFTs too, but they'll pay big fuckin money to get their shit out there :/

@@NaimHrustanovic I'm gonna give his channel another chance and hope this sponsorship is just out of ignorance. I have enjoyed his content. The hatred for architechs and "the strongest shape" jokes crack me up because I have the humor of a 12 year old.

i mean, to be fair on him, he's not at work, he's playing a game and trying to have fun. His everyday job probably doesn't deal with torque very often, if at all, and engineering is such a large field, you simply won't have professionals that know every area inside and out. Torque is more of a physics thing anyway, rather than strictly engineering. You need to remember that he's a *CIVIL* engineer, not a mechanical engineer. Civil engineers work on blueprints for buildings, they have the systems that work memorised and their job is to find a way to fit those systems in to every design. For instance, Matt probably spends a lot of his time fixing design ideas into designs that properly shed rainwater into soil or a roadside collection system. None of that needs much of any knowledge of grade, water flow, or especially torque.
