Alright. So the verdict. Yours doesn't really have anything evil about it... Except for the master plan aspect. That's all cool, but I have to give the edge to Dailey. His build actually has evil things working here. Yours is just a goody Two-Shoes until that treacherous moment.... Then douches hard on the party. His is evil the entire life span. Only thing he missed really was going Dhampir.

I think the real evil was having me sit through the entire video to realize it's a guy using healing spells on a druid.

the plan boils down to not being there for the party when they need you the most, which could be done at any build an interesting motive thats evil would be as a sheperd, you see the party as your flock that you fatten up with every encounter (getting xp in combat where you keep them from dying), so then when you think the party is ready you lead them to slaughter, a neutral evil or true neutral ambition, planting the seeds by volunteering to provide the party with bountiful deer & rabbits, killing them at camp, maybe even getting a party member to help you, training them to be your apprentice and giving them a chance to join you when you finally reveal your goal. and instead of just not healing them, you're leading them through your own dungeon into a trap and become a big bad giving them all a chance with insight checks, perception checks for traps, and insta kill an npc they love that gets caught in the trap, the party expects you to save him but instead of using spare the dying, you finish them off

Finally someone else who recognizes how crazy strong circle of the shepherd is! Twilight clerics is really good as well. They don;t do healing, but give a lot of temporary hit points to allies, and can do it more often.

I liked D&D Daily’s build better. This one was just mean to the other players, not evil to NPCs or enemies.

Our healer heals for gold, if you don’t have the coin or if they don’t owe you a favor then you don't get heals

This is something I can see myself pulling out if I ever find myself at a table I want to dramatically leave forever. That said it could also work really well as a guest/DM NPC that eventually turns out to be the BBEG. If you have a friend who can only make it once in a while you can have them play the helpful druid. Then when they're not around you can have them play the silent helper, just keeping them topped up. Then the taunts about combat feeling easy can come from a guest.

See this is when I talk with my dm and be like “hey can my guy either be the BBEG or be his partner/subordinate”

This was the better evil healer Actually remains me of my own evil healer idea where they were originally a good healer but then after an alignment change from lawful good to chaotic evil. They kill through over healing as the heal their targets so much the healing actually wreck their body completely.

Mark of Hospitality Halfling, 11 Artificer+1 Life cleric+pick your favorite. Mark of Hospitality halflings gets an expanded spell list which gives you Goodberry. Now once you are at level 11 in artificer you’ll get spell storing item which lets you store a Artificer spell and expanded spell lists counts as spells for all applicable spell lists and racial expanded spell lists counts to all your spell lists. Now with a maxed out intelligence you get to use the spell storing 2 times your intelligence modifier which when maxed is 5x2=10 and with that you now have 100 good berries with 4 points of healing each for a grand total of 400 points of healing. The evil part, each berry is worth a single days worth of food and you are feeding them on mass.

I could see one using the innkeeper build: Hospitality Halfling, DS Sorc 3/elo bard3/celestial lock 3. Patron is the God of Hospitality.

The evilest healer I played was in a campaign in which I wasn't allowed to play a cleric because the world was overrun with undead and the DM felt a Cleric would make short work of the undead. So, I played a cleric adjacent class that didn't have access to turn undead. I also was not allowed to use any pantheon that I knew of. I had to look through a pantheon that the DM used for his setting. I decided I wanted my healer to be Chaotic Neutral. I found the only God that was Chaotic Neutral and he had the war domain. So, I decided to play that. I forget the God's name. I only played a couple of weeks before life got in the way of the game. Anyway, my healer was a massive thug. His God's tenants were take what you want. If someone tries to stop you from doing so, fight them. If you get into a fight, no matter what, do not flee. You win the fight or you die. The only options for my character. Needless to say, he wasn't popular in the game. He hindered things more than helped. I tried warning the DM that was going to happen and asked to be allowed to use another CN God that I knew of that wasn't quite so bad. But the DM said, "No, it will be fine. The idea is to have fun. So, just have fun with the character." SMH. All I really wanted to do was play a healer for the group. But I wanted to be CN, so that I could be less constrained by morality in certain situations. Oh well. Maybe the next group will let me play a healer that can be more beneficial and less of a thug.

I think builds gave you a good healer and then made you decide to do a cruel thing at the end. Daily took the idea of "evil healer" and tried to create a build that sounded like an evil healer. I thought I'd go with you but the more I think about it, Daily's seems a more interesting player. But your idea was definitely more sinister.

My Evil healer was mad before Druid Sorcerer and Lock got more dedicated healers. Demona is a Tiefling who's mother sold her soul to Orcus. When her mother died Demona offered other to find other souls to replace her mothers... He agreed to 1000 new souls for one devoted servents return to life. She was a healer by skill feat and class. But her dark secret is when there is no hape for a pacent she would call on a divine favor in traid for her soul later

Reminds me of my character I played a faceless warrior who acted like a hero but was truly a psychopath. The party had no idea until I allied with a dragon and they fled. The game ended pretty quickly and they were not pleased with me.

Or you just stop healing them when they're on the brink of death for the finisher; you turn on them by just doing *nothing* when they need healing the _most_

Yeah probably never going to do this, but this gives me ideas for something more playable like a sadistic healer. Like a morally dark character who is willing to torture for information, but heals the damage done in order to prolong the target's suffering

Love this in theory but defiantly would not play this at a table. Hard to say who won tho, yours seems more evil but less role-play fun for most of the campaign.

I may consider this in the future, but for now I’m going to stick with having a third level caster spend all of their time trying to get money and enchanting rocks, so they can invent blitzkrieg in a fantasy setting.

I don't feel like it is an evil healer, it is an evil roleplay style. Personally, I feel like DnD Daily did a more inherently evil build which will feel more evil without having to crush friendships. This druid is not evil, the player is evil.

So the most evil thing you could think of was messing with 4-6 with a long term plot, 20 levels in a single class, no feats, and no race... it is not a build, not that evil, and it was generally lack luster.... it was entertaining so i do not regret watching but it did not accomplish the goal.

This is kinda of a jerk move. Just being evil towards the party? That's not really evil, or chaotic evil, it's a special alignment called chaotic evil stupid. So what do you exactly gain from this, party wipe. Great. 9/10 players are pissed at you. You'll most likely get kicked out. I mean I've done confrontational characters, towards the world or party, but not to tpk, but more like to seethe crocked judgments and hatred into the characters, creating a dilemma, a problem.
