I feel for your loss. I was with my Mom when she died. Even though I was expecting it, and was prepared, as I was not with my Dad's suicide, or my brother's murder, It was still a sad thing to go through. My uncle and step-dad were there with me, and said they were glad I was with them. I was able to tell them what was going on, medically, that they might not have otherwise known. There was also a time, when I had a heart attack, when I thought I would not see the next minute, let alone the next day. These things make me appreciate the time I have here, and be grateful for every day that I still live. I try to live my life to help others. That is how I find meaning. You have helped me, I hope you can find meaning in that. I read your book "The Only Pirate at the Party," and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I honestly can't wait for this movie. I've watched the trailer so many times and to hear that Lost Girls is coming out soon made my heart jump! I've been waiting for this music since Lindsey did explained the background behind it (before the album came out!) and I still watch that video all the time. I watched the documentary with my parents the day it came out, which was really special and timely. One of my close family friends, a mother from another mother, as we say, had passed away earlier that day from lung cancer. BRAVE ENOUGH was a really important story for us to see that day.

I'm not a dog person. Last time I had a dog, I realized, I don't have the proper personality for it. I don't dislike dogs, but they're just not my thing. On the other hand, I love cats. StarFire was my darling girl. I had her for 3 years before some nasty neighbors killed her. She would meet me at the front door of my house every day when I would come home from work.
