If you ever work with teeth or bones again, you could try soaking them in hydrogen peroxide and water for a little bit, I've found it works better than bleach and is better for your skin. Just work in a ventilated area! *Warning for roadkill, animal death, just be safe* Have you heard of vulture culture? It's like this subculture of amateur taxidermists who do a lot of stuff similar to this, but mostly with the bones of roadkill or animals that have died of natural causes. I happened upon a humerous bone of an eastern cottontail rabbit on a walk once that I made into a necklace and I love it! Bone jewelry is really nice, and jewlerymaking in general is a really fun hobby!

Alshakfhs this is so weird but I love it; of course you made a necklace from your own teeth. This necklace is very homemade, because not only did you assemble the necklace yourself, you also made the teeth yourself. I had my wisdom teeth removed in 2015 and the wouldn’t let me keep my teeth :( Though apparently they had to break some of them while extracting them so they probably wouldn’t have looked cool anyway

Got my wisdom teeth pulled on the 19th all 4 also and I'm pretty much healed already too. I found out you heal faster if the teeth were all the way in. If they're still underneath the gums they have to cut alot more. So more healing time/swelling.

I am so fucking furious- bc I actually got my wisdom teeth pulled out,- ALSO recovered fairly well and quickly- but while i was there, i knew i was gonna be kinda knocked out from the anesthesia, so I asked my dad to PLEASE ask them for my teeth back. When i woke up, i asked him about the teeth, and he told me apparently that I wasn’t allowed to take them because of that bullshit policy- and I am just so disheartened about it cuz I definitely had dreamed about making jewelry out of my own teeth since I was 14. My mother (who is Cuban) told me that in Cuba it's a thing to save your baby teeth and make earrings, rings and necklaces. I have all my baby teeth in a little box (most of them were pulled because my adult teeth already sprouted and they weren't loose).
