Honestly I'm much more excited about videos like this than the trap bases where everyone who picks the wrong door dies / ends up pissing off a whole server. The continental was good because it built up a small community, and had a lot of personality past being just a gimmick. Keep that going. Edit: I don't play Rust, but I am enamored by it just because it is, in theory, the perfect social experiment. You could play the game and foster an entire team / keep in contact with them through just game mechanics if you really tried, and it has all these other systems that promote these circumstances. And on the flip side, its also suited for tribe warfare, and alliances, enough complexity to have an actual societ- albeit a warring one. The problem is that as a game- and a game that encourages competition, it devolves into the usual meta-gaming of "everyone for themselves" and slurs. Its fun to see something that is essentially an exhibit of humans.

Trap base is not grubbing and I’ll tell you why. Grubbing is when you post up in a favorable location and wait for someone to make a play or raid a base something along those lines. Once they use their resources to make the play or blow into a base you sneak up and grab as much shit as you can and dip. Basically you wait for someone to find themselves in an unfortunate situation and you grub yourself a profit from it. A trap base causes the unfortunate event making you the aggressor not the grub. However i think it takes a good grub to be a trap baser because you need to think like a grub to build a good trap base.

Hey reks ive been around watching u and dirt for a year or so now and i gotta say the 2 of u are tied for my favorite trap basers on yt but uhhh i gotta task for u because i feel like it would be your vibe and i cant really pull it off my mother board on my pc fried so ive just been playing console rust but i got this large furnace base that ive turned into a trap base and i connect it to a 2x1 or some small bunker base its a little complicated to explain but i wanna give you the foot print to put to use on actual servers i think you could do it better justice than i can if your interested lmk
