You should do a discoloration challenge. Work with fragrance oils you know will discolor. Try to anticipate the color changes and build a soap around it!

I've seen tiktok vids of where people will use dice to decide their outfits, what they draw, etc. Maybr you could do something like that with a challenge soap? Ex: have all you colorants in one collum, embeds in another, etc. And roll the dice for each collum (d&d dice are often used so there's a lot more than 6 sides lol)

Challenge ideas: a soap with all of your least favourite colors, 10 or however many different types of glitters soap, 15 minute speed soap making (not including preping materials), KZfaq or Instagram chooses your soap again, 10 or however many fragrance oils, 10 or however many embeds on a soap. yes!! like a teaspoon or quarter teaspoon for each color, mix them all in one large container, then combine the Franken-pigment with the soap batter !!!

I'd love to see more problem-solving videos, like what you do to fix up bars that get dented or scraped, how to remove the soda ash with steam, what to do when your batch starts setting up fast and how to fix that in the future, etc. More a series for other soapmakers I suppose!

I think this turned out beautiful! The side of the entire thing, before it was cut, looked like some kind of rainbow landscape with a blue/purple sky. So pretty. And it definitely gave me major Lisa Frank vibes. Young me would've absolutely needed several bars. lol. :D

I would love to see challenge soaps. One that I would love to see is color wheel inspired challenge soaps. (Complimentary colors, analogous colors, triadic colors, tetradic colors etc)

I literally feel like a crazy person everytime she uses Blue Tide. It is GREEN!!! My phone, TV, laptop, desktop, tablet... It's green everytime. I guess I'll just have to order some to see it in person. 🤔

I love how many colorants you have! You could do one layered soap a month. Let people vote on their favourite colour and then do a layered special 🤩🤩 Also that one pink. Just sings to my soul. I don’t know why. Fabulous fun ! Thank you for the video!!

OMG, I saw that then I wondered if they just got the box from a store or did they actually buy bulk skittles?! When we moved we got a ton of boxes free from the liquor store, and my mom was so worried the new neighbours were going to think we were alcoholics! Hahahha!

I was fully expecting an in the pot swirl for each colored layer (so, all the greens for example in one pot and then into the slab) so WOW above and beyond! Great work, Katie!

A white piped dollop on top would look so cute!! Like a fluffy cloud! I loved the challenge soap. You should do more soap challenges! Just don't hurt yourself!! And I also am super excited that your colorant wall is coming back! Misses seeing it in your videos.

I would love to see you experiment with more long imbeds within the bar itself 😁😇 like the solid tube style ones, sorry I don't know the terminology better. Stars and moon or pyramid in the desert etc.

Soap challenges would be super cool! Maybe a wheel or online generator that lets you pick colors, if there are decorations, the type of soap(if it's a drop), sent, etc

@@Snookie222 I’m about 30 min from DIA 😂 yeah tornadoes aren’t the major weather issue here (I’d say blizzards are but only been here 3 years) but tornadoes definitely happen! Lol I use to live in San Diego lol (lots of places in between the two) I miss Earth quakes being pretty much the only natural disaster concern 😂

Rainbow Idea: Frosting First! Put the round tip frosting layers on one side of an on it's side mold. Let it set and then right up the mold and do a nice even straight line layered soap for the rainbow colors. When it's all set, unmold turn it so the white clouds are on the top. Plunk it back down in the mold and MORE Frosting. So when cut, it's a nice floofy round cloud with the rainbow going downwards from the cloud. Or just low top if if you can't be futzed with the extra frosting. ;D
