@skyward snake it's kind of eerie yeah, but still, it's a posthomously done album with a very sparse and open production, a lot of air and ethereal sounds in-between the instruments, so it's natural to feel that way. I like to see it more as Freddie's Swansong and his last gift to us from beyond, a message from the afterlife of him being at peace and reconciled with himself. The fact that it's a loft of material he didn't have the chance to finish in the studio and includes some of his very last recordings of his last days like "Mother love" which was left unfinished and was his very last so g to record make it hard but beyond how sad and soursweet it might seem, in the end is a beautiful record with a beautiful message in celebration of who Freddie was as a loving, fun and beautiful person.

@skyward snake I understand, when I'm not all that well, there or put together emotionally, I can't listen to it all the way through without shedding a tear or sobbing at one point or another, it catches you off guard. At least that's my experience, I'm a huge Freddie and Queen fanatic and I have to say in terms of records, for me this is a though one, for me it's difficult for me to sit through or listen through it without being overwhelmed by sadness, emotion or nostalgia (?) Sometimes that happens with certain media and it's alright.
