Dads are another thing, what an amazing mask! The LEDs were a really amazing detail. And I really loved the way you solved the visibility problem with the spinning Sunbeams. Your daughter must have loved this! I hope that in the future I can do a mask as incredible as yours ;)

How long did this take you in total? I’m 15 years old and not rlly experienced in making these type of things- I’m planning on being sundrop/Sunrise for Halloween and I’m stuck on how to make the whole costume (especially the mask). I’m excited to try this out, but I hope I’ll be able to make one until October 💙💛 love this btw, it’s incredible and extremely creative how you’ve done this, absolutely amazing!!!!

Can you make a list of materials... most I can gather from watching. but specifically when you are feeding the wires through... what is the clear tube like thing you used?? I am in the process of making a moondrop mask for my LO. Thanks!!

Hello, I used cardboard, styrofoam, ping pong balls, a fidget spinner, a plexiglass tube that you can find in a plexiglass store and common led's that you can power with 3 volts directly or use resistants that will give you in the store that you will buy them depending the battery that you will use. Tell me what else do you think is a good idea for me to built that the people would interested at? Thank you.

It is exactly the same. The only difference is that it doesn't have the sunbeams and it has a sleeping hat.

i made one out of wood! I didnt make the spinning thingy, cause i dont have a figet spinner rn. All u rlly do is take a thicc plank. Make a circle. Carve it to a bowl ish shape. and carve the details. for eyes i just dont carve entire holes. No need to color if its for 3d model reffrence. It looks kinda good!

Helloand thank you, The Lights are LEDs and the connections are parallel. That means that you connect all the {+ } Legs wich are the largest ones to the Positive{+} of your battery and the {-}legs, the shortest to The {-} of the battery

Hi! Just a quick question. How do you make it rotate if the fidget spinner is glued down? Wouldn’t it not spin? Only part I’m stumped on. Thanks!

Hi, if you glued the bearing it will not rotate. You have to glu the leaves of the spinner to the sunbeams cardboard and the center to the face seperately otherwise it will not work.

Hello and thank you! For the Leds and the registors it depends on what voltage battery you will use! If you go to an electronic components store and tell them that you will use a 9volt battery sutch as I did they will give you the right Leds and resistors and tell you how to connect them.! I'm working on a Moon cosplay. Is there a way to spin the front piece (with the styrofoam) while the cardboard piece on the back stays in place? He doesn't have the rays as Sun does but I want to try and get the cool spin.

Hello. First remove the one tap of the fidget spinner and then glue the styrofoam piece to the leaves of the fidget spinner and the stripe hat to the other tap but note that you will not be able to see anything while the head spins because the eyes holes will be turning.

Hello, as you can see in the video I used a fidget spinner. I glue the sunbeams piece to the edges of the spinner and the face of the mask to the center of it so the beams can spin free like the edges of the spinner!
