I use them all the time! For this I just used the sticky back, but for things that’ll get more battered I superglue them on

Beautiful made, we went to a fair our self this week, it was more like a medieval fair but amazing, you made it perfectly

Back in the late 80's early 90's seeing someone at Bristol with a mug tied to their waist meant they were working there. I know about it so that's probably not how it works anymore. Also going for a clear cup was a good call. I've drunk out of one I've painted before and it wasn't a great experience.

Pretty much every guest that dressed up or had been there before had their own mug and had a way to attach it. And yeah, clear was better. Almost immediately after finishing I found aluminum ones in my cupboard but was much too tall. If I had found it before would have used that

This came out great, esp for a last minute project! The clear cup inside looks like a better option for drinking than the painted one too

I had an absolutely great time!!! Would like to go again but I'm not sure I have a free weekend before it ends... I'll set aside more time next year since I had such a blast

@@SundaySlaysCosplay it was my first time attending and I definitely want to go back at least once a year. Though in hindsight, my Steampunk gunslinger costume was a bit tricky in the heat with all the layers. Maybe a simple starfleet uniform next time. Lol

@@ReaverLordTonus Yeah I have a few starfleet uniforms which would be easy but I was very comfortable in my corset and dress. Some friends told me I should wear my armor and I’m like nah, the fair is for fun and I want to be comfortable

Thank you! I saw some beautiful ones at the fair but everyone liked my little koozie 😊 I’m sure I’ll replace it with a real one eventually but this was fun and will last a few years

But I just taught you how to make your own! 😆 In all seriousness the fair was a friggen blast, I understand why people go every year. Work has always stolen my weekends while the fair went on but I’m so glad I managed to get to it for the first time

Your fair doesn't just allow tankards? Like couldn't you have made an actual functioning tankard or flagon instead of just a beer koozie for plastic cups? The one I went to in maryland let you bring in tankards, flagons, and drinking horns. They would just fill it at the tap and charge you by the amount poured.

Yes they do, and everyone brings their own. I didn’t have a tankard or a drinking horn and didn’t want to buy one at the fair, which were all $25-$80+ depending on the kind. I chose to make a functioning beer koozie with the materials I already had instead
