Hi, my name is Joseph Fowler and you're watching Joseph Fowler Maker! On this channel, I do everything - blacksmithing, sewing, cars, cosplay, and everything in between. Making has been in my blood for as long as I can remember. Early on I apprenticed as a blacksmith, then from there, I went to carving briar wood pipes, working leather, and amateur furniture making. I have a lot of hobbies.
I love movies and the wonderful props that are in them. I've always been interested in owning something from them, but I'm cheap so I make them.

That is my next axe. My line for the spike will be cutting more weight off of the head. Nice job!

Hello there..i was wondering if the harbor freight axe you bought was originally forged or was casted( melted steel in molds)?? I mean before you started forging it yourself...thanks friend

Hey Nathan I don't actually know I imagine just like most stuff from Harbor Freight probably the cheapest way it can be made .I want to say the thing only cost me about 30 bucks probably even less than that

I agree Viking axes had very wide very thin blades and most didn't have spikes and were connected to long thin hafts. But for the sake of the video this is probably the most universally accepted Viking axe style in cinema
