You might also want to take a look at the gauges and switches mod. It has some interesting redstone stuff, most notably gauges that can read redstone signal strength.

This is probably my favorite mod to play with. Thinking up different machines and figuring out how to build them is so much fun.

Most people make the flying machines with casing fans over campfires, and then because they have less power they have to be very efficient. Instead Mumbo Jumbo goes mad genius.

Hello, Mumbo. I have recently learned about a feature of the mod Quark known as gravisand. This sand will only be affected by gravity when triggered with a redstone signal, an action which can also be reversed. While this is a rather simple feature, I can see great potential in this, and seeing as your past interactions with mods have lead to incredibly interesting builds, I would like to formally request that you experiment with this feature. (Do note that a port of the mod to Fabric called Allure also exists, which may be better, since it's on a better mod platform. I should also not that the mod has other redstone-related features, but I found gravisand particularly intrigueing, and therefore specifically focused on that.) Regards, - BlueManedHawk

I mean, the one thing this has over other redstone machines is that the pole can be as long as you want, so you could make that move 50 blocks at a time if you wanted (though fixing the timing on that would be a pain), but bloody good effort. I wanted to make something like this for ages but could never figure it out - and here it is
