The fact that the water piston is a sticky piston by default is sort of correct as water ( or any fluid in general ) are sticky ( for how much is depend on fluid type )

Hmm… what if you made water and lava behave like redstone blocks, but they still retain their original properties? This means that lava powered redstone circuitry could work, save for the fire hazard. On that note, could you also try making redstone dust set everything around it on fire like lava?

i have a few ideas for part 2 : - lava acts like chests - make torches act like a non-light source block and see what happens - make grass act like campfires (emits particles, damages, can be extinguished...) if these ideas make it into the videos you'll get a cookie :D

Make slime blocks act like honey and honey blocks make you bounce like 1000 blocks. Make everything act like observers. Enchanting tables disenchantment grind stones pull up villager trades (would be funny if it was completely ripoff trades) and elytras are broken as hell.
