You should rewatch the clip. Preying claw strike will be a finisher heavy with its own unique animation that only does 20 damage but if you wallsplat with the chain bash, you can perform a slightly delayed neutral heavy instead to gain 24 or 27 damage instead.

I started playing around 5 months ago. The new player experience is just learning what every character can do so don't be a one trick pony. Play characters even if you don't want to main them.

I think you should defo play vs bots on breach with other players as an introduction, then go into duels, stay away from dominion until you at least grasp the basics of the game

Nah bots play differently than people play 1v1s until you're comfortable to go to 4v4

Run bots to get the hang of a hero then hop into games. Learn feints and when/how to gank then you'll be good. But really the hardest part of the game is understanding that whenever you fight a hero who kicks your ass regularly, you need to play them to learn them
