IIRC, it's possible to activate any interactive part (even the engines) by clicking/tapping on it, not just the soda bottles. This can help with popping balloons in the right order. It also works with all the background vehicles in the main menu :D

As you discovered before you can activate singular bottle rockets and other such things by clicking only them. This applies to balloons too, which is effective so you can change the weight of the vehicle where you want to.

The pig itself is like a motor if you don't have another motor in the vehicule. He has enough push to lift himself off the ground in a wooden box + helicopter. So its like... half a drill engine.
