Sharing with you my journey through my first year in nursing school. This one's really close to my heart. I still feel so overjoyed to have passed first year, although I know I am not even halfway there yet.
Creating this made me miss school so badly especially the people in it. ): 3 days from now, it will be four months since I've last seen my classmates. ;(((

These are not really "expectations" po but i do have some questions po hehe :)). What do you like most about cnu po? Did the teachers care about the students' mental health po ba? Facilities-wise, how would you rate cnu po? Magasto po ba nursing sa cnu? Mahal po ba cost of living sa cebu (dorm, food, and the like)? Maraming salamat po!!! hi ate! I planned to be a stem student but the thought of math and other related subjs that i find it hard, fear took over and made me decide to become a humss student and as i think about life, i want to become a nurse but I somehow doubt myself whether I can make it or not or if it's meant for me though i really hope that i will grow and will learn to love this program soon, I am so anxious with the thought of college and being alone. i am so happy for you i even shed a tear, that you found family in your college life. :)))

Awww thank you! You know what? If you really do feel it in your heart to become a nurse, you still can. It doesn’t matter if you took up HUMSS in senior high school, you can still get accepted. In fact, I have a block mate who was a HUMSS student back in SHS but he’s doing great now. All the best for you xx

Hello. Yes. All students are CHED Unifast scholars. We don't pay any tuition fees, only miscellaneous like duty/RLE fees.

Wala ko sure about the allowance kay wala raman sad mi hehe nya sa grades kay dapat lang jud dili mahagbong or moubos pa sa 3 :)

Hello ate, unta mabasa nimo. Nag plan ko na i-message ka through messenger pero maulaw man ko so diri nalang. This will be lengthy pero i hope u will find time to read this through. Aspiring med student ko ate, and ofc med school is very expensive and oftentimes our high school instructors would advice us na choose a course muna nga dili kaayo makagasto so that we could or should i say, our parents could still save up for med school. I then figured out na mag nursing nalang ko (although deep inside gusto ko medtech, pero dili nalang since it is offered in private schools and that will cost my parents a lot of money jud and to think na preparatory course paman sad),, and ang nakachada sa nursing is gina offer siya sa daghan na public schools. Now ang problem nalang jud nako ate kay if aha ko mag nursing, naa may ga offer na school sa amoa kaso daghan kog personal issues that trigger me to leave najud. Although wa pamay assurance na makasulod kos CNU ate, i hope na u can somehow help me decide. Wvsu and CNU akong choices, pero taga bukidnon man gud ko ate, unya like “nganong mag layo layo paman ka na mag nursing raman japon kas public school, unya naa mana diri sa atoa” in ana bitaw ate, so like what is so good about CNU na mag risk jud kog sapalaran diras cebu. Unya never pasad ko nakaanha ug cebu, wa sad koy relatives dira. Akong mindset lang jud is muanha ug cebu kay mas daghan opportunities like basin mag enrol kos SWU for med since ga offer man silag scholarship, or even apply dayun sa CNU na bag-o na med school puhon. So ate, is the system in CNU good? Like for practicality, worth it siya? Kumpleto mog equipment? Approachable and maayo mag tudlo ang mga college instructors? Gasulod sila? Considerate sila sa deadline? Naa moy saktong hospital para mag duty aron makatuon? Daghan kaayo ni nga questions ate, pero desperada najud ko mag ask. Lisod jud kaayo ate na mag decide decide lang. Kung ang quality sa education dira kay dili man diay kaayo impressive or like walay difference compared sa uban nursing programs sa other state universities, ga think ko na di nalang mag risk ug anha dira. Unta matubag nimo ate, like honest opinion jud ate, dako jud kag matabang ate, di lang sa akoa, pati sa akong family. Thank u daan ate!

Hi. No tuition fee at all.🥰 This is for CNU because all students are now CHED UNIFAST scholars but for private schools in Cebu like Velez or CDU, I believe it’s around 60k per semester. Back when CNU had a tuition fee, I think it was around 15-20k per sem(?) I am not quite sure but at present, we’re not paying any tuition fee anymore.

Hello. Yes, of course, as long as you are residing within PH right now. :) The school currently does not accept students living outside PH since we will still be utilizing the online mode of learning and the time difference might be a problem. :)
