LEGO sets these days can be incredibly huge and take up a tonne of space in your house, so I decided to shrink them down, and make LEGO Harry Potter MINI!

Very cool. As a fellow collector with limited space I went a different route. This time last year I built my Diagon Alley so that each building could be folded up and stashed away inside a Hogwarts moments cover. Most of my Harry Potter builds can hide away while the display space is being used for other things. Your solution is very elegant and the perfect builders answer, nice one.

I think the Lego tube pieces, the thin ones used in many sets would be a good way to display the mine cart track in your mini gringotts

I always have a thing for mini scale LEGO stuff. It's just so fun seeing how much detail people can shove into such a small area with limited bricks. It takes a lot of talent to do properly.

I find it really funny that you were so against the Advent calendar doing this exact thing before and are now basically doing it yourself, just a tiny bit bigger 😂 That said, would definitely like to see more stuff like this, for other themes as well!

I like this scale, lego used to have some sets at this scale, but they never continued with them. Minimodulars and toys r us bricktober series. Those look great. Its hard to replicate the original idea at that scale sometimes.

I’m 99% sure there’s 8 different micro model variants, so you’d need that many in order to have them all

The most useful pieces I found where 1x1 plates, studs, slopes. 1x2 or longer plates, and any 1x1 brick. Out of all though the 1x1 plates and studs were the ones I reached for most
