I think the main reason the water is not destroyed by TNT, is that water and lava in fact have a very high blast resistance (100), which is more than 6 times the resistance needed to completely absorb a TNT explosion (15.534)

Bubble columns are classified by the game as a different block, so you only turned water into a block and the bubble column didn’t work.

8:00 Basically when you break the block, it spawns a lava block but the water makes it into obsidian OR When you break the water, it spawns a lava but it realizes it has to spawn a water so it does but it doesn't break the lava, therefore making it obsidian.

I think the reason why it was changing between lava and water at the end of the video, is because it was shown earlier that when you try to break a block of a fluid, it just regenerates, but as the code implies it was the other block, it regenareted the other one. Not sure though

Reminds me of a time when I broke out of bounds on an old game called BattleTanx. I broke out on a map with a big bridge. (Probably the golden gate bridge?) And I fell onto the water underneath the bridge. And like this video it was a big flat surface that looked like water. It was pretty trippy, but cool at the same time lol

The reason the water fall worked was likely spawn protection, it worked shortly after you dying twice but not when you hadn't just died.

5:40 I wonder if it would be possible to remove the dirt under a sapling without updating it, then grow it to generate new dirt? That would be pretty helpful in skyblock. Also if there was a glitch to place saplings on blocks they shouldn't be placed on then it could be a way to get dirt without dirt, moss etc.

u can have lava on top of water in vanilla. make a bubble elevator and put it somewhere above (note: u need to aim the lava on a block 1 block higher and i block to the left/right of the water)

Actually, if you play on a server, doing an MLG is incredibly risky, as if your oing is over 50, you have a chance of not negating damage with water. So technically... No, that was definitely not the first time water didn't negate fall damage, and definitely not the last either.

The reason why it still saves you when water mlg is because a water block isn’t a full block (16x15x16) but it’s hitbox is still a full block so the water saves you because a 16x16x16 radius is 1.05 in the game files (yes it’s not even 1) so I That’s the reason why
