3 of the Original ACDC (Bonn Scott and the Malcom brothers) were born and went to school not far from me in Scotland, they then moved to Australia... Brian Johnson is this singer after Scott passed away...a band to get 2 awesome singers isn't luck, it's fate :D

I grew up in that Era and I can say they are an AWESOME BAND! My fave ever and in concert they totally ROCK

Believe it or not, that’s not first time I’ve heard someone say that! Angus is the truth! Go back and listen to classics like High Voltage, Dirty Deeds, Jailbreak 74’, and If You Want Blood. Angus shreds those albums to pieces. One of the best Rock and Roll guitarists ever! Yeah I said it.. Yngwie, Vai, Eddie, etc, all idolized Angus. He took what Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley did and put his style on it, which in the 70s, next to maybe Sabbath, was some of the heaviest shit around. Before Slayer, Metallica, Anthrax, and Megadeth were even a thought!

The dance was held at the high school hall regularly on a Saturday night and they had some good Aussie acts on there. Might not be your cup of tea but he definitely a musical genius

In the US, the big studios pretty much killed the blues influence in the 21st century because they autotune every damn thing to death, even official concert videos, so you can't bend notes and be heard the way you meant. If you can't bend notes there is no authentic blues or even strong blues influence, which was why rock happened. Thankfully not everyone on the planet does this, but that is a big part of why good rock has mostly disappeared from the top 40 in the USA. And Clear Channel franchises plus the FCC rules demanding the submission of playlists and everything that goes on air has vastly reduced the chances of a local DJ playing an indie track and starting a trend. So where do you find good music? Right here, online. Old and new. Most of the best musical discoveries I have made in the past 20 years and especially the past 10 have been online. KZfaq has played a big part, but also indie artists on sites like PureVolume and CDBaby and others. I'm also hearing that MySpace is being made usable again. There are also tools to help individuals do things at modest cost that used to require big expensive studios. So IMHO this is the new model for good original musical art. The old megastudio model will crash and burn if they keep going the way they're going. And BTW, a lot of the best REAL rock and metal bands today are from Japan.
