You don't need any of that. All you need is community creations and universe mode and you can create any era you want just like in the video.

Same question here lol. I've been missing WCW, and have been seeing a bunch of retro stuff in this game, so downloading it now lol.

You just have to download any wrestlers, belts and arenas etc from that era and add it all to your Universe Mode whilst getting rid of the modern stuff and replacing it all. Takes a bit of set up, but worth it if this is more enjoyable to you. I've had fun doing both modern and vintage eras. I've done a modern one with Smackdown, Raw, NXT and a modern version of ECW, but also done one from 2000 featuring Raw, Smackdown and again ECW.
