To answer your question from a realistic perspective, if the Titanic had had the Britannic's configuration, with all of the watertight bulkheads actually extending to a watertight deck (instead of stopping short at, for example, E Deck), and perhaps even the double-skinned hull, it likely would have survived the iceberg damage, maybe even indefinitely (thought not necessarily without turning to port - a head-on collision would have still been horrible, as even your tests here indicate). Also, I know the game doesn't simulate it for the Titanic here, but it actually did have a pump system; in fact, about a half hour after the collision, engineers down below had to open the watertight doors, aft of Boiler Room 5, to hook up the pumps, to at least try and slow the flooding down. It did manage to buy the passengers and crew some time, but it wasn't enough to reverse the flooding. Throwing reality out of the window.....I dunno. The ship would probably have to be modified by using the guide, and the bulkheads raised to the top, in the interior of the ship.

I would run strait into the ice berg so it would only flood the first compartment and it would not sink since it was made to not sink if 3 or 4 compartments where flooded.

@@simtitan1 simulations were ran with the full speed, the conclusion of it was it would not have survived at full speed. with a ship at that mass, hitting it head on with a strong iceberg, who knows what type of damage that could cause. even a structual collapse, sure it would have a better chance at surviving, but most likely no.

if you're wondering how titanic will be unable to sink by indestructible matters, all you would really need is her watertight doors going all the way up to b deck and she would probably need a double hull near the keel, because even though titanic had a double hull along the hull, she only had one hull in the lower hull below the waterline, so you would probably need a double hull along the bottom as well. That would make Titanic a lot stronger for the most part, or at least safer. Also, you can't forget more lifeboats.

Other than extending the bulkheads up to the floor above (as they did to sister ship Britannic after Titanic sank) I reckon if you filled the empty bulkheads with something like styrofoam, then even if there was a really long gash down the side of the ship, only a bit of water would come in - around the styrofoam. The presence of the styrofoam would keep the density of the ship low enough to stay afloat.

The titanic didn't crash directly into the iceberg also the reason why the titanic died was because of the people piloting it they were overconfident and weren't careful also they were going at full speed even after it hitted the iceberg they kept going causing more water to get it

(Not so) Fun fact about the titanic: The impact with the iceberg did not actually tear open a hole, but it popped the rivets in the metal, making gaps between the hull plates, The crash also punctured 4 bulkheads, the titanic only able to sustain 3 flooded bulkheads, the long gash may have been entirely prevented if the titanic slowed up and rammed the iceberg and flooded only the 2 bow bulkheads.
