About One Hour One Life
This game is about playing one small part in a much larger story. You only live an hour, but time and space in this game is infinite. You can only do so much in one lifetime, but the tech tree in this game will take hundreds of generations to fully explore.
This game is also about family trees. Having a mother who takes care of you as a baby, and hopefully taking care of a baby yourself later in life. And your mother is another player. And your baby is another player. Building something to use in your lifetime, but inevitably realizing that, in the end, what you build is not for YOU, but for your children and all the countless others that will come after you. Proudly using your grandfather's ax, and then passing it on to your own grandchild as the end of your life nears.
And looking at each life as a unique story. I was this kid born in this situation, but I eventually grew up. I built a bakery near the wheat fields. Over time, I watched my grandparents and parents grow old and die. I had some kids of my own along the way, but they are grown now... and look at my character now! She's an old woman. What a life passed by in this little hour of mine. After I die, this life will be over and gone forever. I can be born again, but I can never live this unique story again. Everything's changing. I'll be born as a different person in a different place and different time, with another unique story to experience in the next hour...

There really needs to be a way for you to carry your babies in your backpack if its empty. I feel like that would be a great help to single moms and Eves in this game.

You just go out with 2 backpacks: one behind your back, other in your hands (like ordinary basket). Once you get a baby in wilderness, you equip one BP to baby and then you can carry baby. It is well known feature.

Please tell me you played yesterday (the 14th). I was born as a baby of the Song family and stumbled across my entire family’s (over 10) freshly murdered corpses in the first 30 seconds. Right afterwards my mom stumbled towards me with an arrow in her chest telling me she loved me before we both died. It was insane and I need to know what happened.

You should procaim yourself king and say youre immortal. Before* you die, find a baby and make them king and let them in on the secret, and basically say pretend to be me recincarnated. See how long you could make a dynasty with an immortal emporer

Kinda wish there were poison berries, like....White berries that either kill you or slow you down like when you grief. Be a great way to control griefers when you have no weapon.

The best way to deal with the grievers is to identify and spread the word to other good players. Once enough people see that they are evil, they will be stopped and killed. If you just attack them, you run the risk of other players saving them and killing you. Murder is their most effective tool, because it immediately causes damage to the town. By that logic the best way to prevent grieving is to establish medical supplies ASAP, and keep an eye on your stock of them. Its only sterile pads, thread and knife(and learn to use them)... easily done anytime you are in a town with sheep. You should think of them as an essential piece to town life, as important as the forge or berry farm!

I just found your yt and bought the game because you make it look fun but this game is not new player friendly i was in my second game and didn't know what i was doing and got yelled at abused cursed and stabbed for not knowing what i was doing instead of helping me its a shame it looks like a good game. is there a way to play in a solo server until i know how to play?

@banga rang It is a really good game but, do to the the troll population, you might find that other players (nontrolls) can be quick to assume you are grieving the town. Or that the trolls, like its a game of frigging Deceit, do some grieving themselves and blame you. Best way to get by without knowing exactly what to do is to learn how to farm and smith and begin contributing to the town. If other "good" players see that you are actively helping they wont be so quick to assume that you are a troll yourself. If you mess something up by accident, just explain to anyone who's pissed that you're new and made a mistake. If they flip out and attack you then they were likely a troll looking to start crap in the town and were gonna attack you anyways. Just start learning to farm and you can contribute easily and also you can keep a careful eye on the precious food stocks. Also if another player is doing something you don't know how to do just ask, they will explain. These players are 99/100 not grieving. Just watch out for someone crafting a knife or bow when you're pretty sure the town has plenty of those. The more you play you'll begin to see who the likely trolls are. Grievers can't contribute and grief at the same time, so they wont. They will stand around a lot and do nothing then try to start drama before getting a weapon and attacking someone. Also anyone, especially a naked person running around town with a weapon in hand should be avoided. This can, almost without fail, be a sign of a griever. Good luck and hopefully we'll play together sometime.
