Villagers can build now, and it turns out they are pretty good at it. But are they better than players? In this video, we host a building competition to see who can build the better village over 5 days in Minecraft, and to make it more interesting - we're in MINECRAFT'S HOTTEST DESERT.

They really surprised me this go around. They had a lot of build ideas planned before hand and really worked together. Even in the end, the only reason rumors started spreading was because people got scared and didn't trust their own kind LOL

it seems the players need an "enemy" to face off against to prevent them from turning on each other. They all believed a rebellion was brewing, so they united in order to defeat that perceived threat. The villagers winning isn't enough because that's not an immediate threat to them. I think the natural disasters helped them stick together too, though I think it's weird that only they had to deal with it and the villagers got easy mode lol

The villagers didn't get any of the natural disasters because... it wouldn't have effected them much anyways. The fire tornado is a threat to the players because they would lose any items they have on them, while the villagers never have a single item on themselves because all materials they collect go to a central storage that only the 'boss' player in charge can access. The only thing that probably would have been worse for the villagers than it would the players woudld have been the head burning the trees down. The villagers' AI wouldn't be anything to put them out so they'd always lose their trees.

@@Triforce1018 It only works in the dimension you are in. If you travel to another dimension wherever the camera was before is simply unloaded so you cant see anything.

At 22:51 all the iron is what is called an iron vein. It spawns near tuff, and there are usually at least a stack of raw iron per vein. There even are raw iron blocks hidden in it too!

A stack of raw iron? I dunno what veins you've been mining but that's _wayyy_ smaller than most large iron veins. In my experience they can have WAY more than just a stack.

Putting aside that this is only a small group in a patch of game world with but a single goal; Diplomacy and soft power has made a lot of progress in comparison to elitist feudalism, for example (Which to quote someone from Spacebattles feudalism is barely a step above organized barbarism. T'is reliant on the strength and "power" of the local lord). But softpower also has it's downsides (namely misinformation, abuse of voting systems like any other etc). The root problem isn't whether or not it exists, but the imbalanced spread of resources from force multipliers and the inherit sin of humanity (greed, blind selfishness etc) that something like this does not work on the large scale. At least from any shortsighted earthly power. To quote another; It has only been a short time since industrialization began, we have a lot to work out and there's plenty of time for society to change and think of new ways (potentially for the better). While evolution moves in slow eons, from that point of view society can change in the blink of an eye. Regardless if that's a bad or good thing.

Finally, the players actually achieved something easily comparable to the villagers. Personally, I prefer the look of the villagers' village, but I have to give this round to the players, because honestly it's a much bigger achievement overall given the previous competitions.

The villagers had 5 people to begin with and the players had forty so it was to try to balance it some.

I really like this format. Villagers vs Players. Next time it might be fun for the Villagers and Players to be gearing up to fight the other, only for both to unite against a common enemy… not sure what that would be, but sounds entertaining.

Loved the video syszee! Can't wait for the next video man! While the Players finally got their act together for once and didn't start Blowing themselves up with TNT, The Minefortress Villagers under your Control seemed to have gotten a lot more work done and covered a Larger area. I'd say that you went Bigger than a Village and Maybe even went to a Town or at best a Small City. Here's an Expansion on this idea that I've got in mind. So imagine that you've got several Groups of Players (say, no more than 60 per group) and then you've got a Few Creators like Yourself and maybe Branzy, Knarfy, Skip the Tutorial and a few others with the Minefortress Villagers but instead of just settling on building an entire village in 5 Days, why not try to Build an entire Civilization in say 7 to 14 Days! And both Players and Minefortress Villagers will be on the Same World and Seed Together, should Tensions come to a Head. Better still, you'll have several other Mods that should Hopefully work with Minefortress to allow for vast Advancements in Technology as well as Exploration and the Server Wildlife. Below will be the Following Mods used in this Challenge! YUNGNICKYOUNG's Better Minecraft Mods: • Better Jungle Temples. • Better Desert Temples. • Better Ocean Monuments. • Better Witch Huts. • Better Nether Fortresses. • Better Strongholds. • Better End Island. • Better Mineshafts. • Bridges. • API. Talhanation's Mods: • Small Ships. • Recruit Villagers. • Villager Workers. Alex's Mods: • Alex's Caves. • Alex's Mobs. The Create Mod Community: • The Create Mod. • Create: Steam and Rails. • Create: Big Cannons. • Create: Guns/Mr.Crayfish's Gun Mod. • Create: Diesel Generators. and various other Mods in the Create Mod Community. The Valkyrien Skies Mod Community: • Valkyrien Skies. • Valkyrien Skies: Eureka. • Valkyrien Skies: Clockwork. • Valkyrien Skies: Tournament. Other Mods and/or Plug-ins: • Towns and Towers Plug-in. • The Illage and Spillage Mod. • It takes a Pillage Mod. • Biomes O Plenty. • Goblins and Dungeons Mod. The Minefortress Players (which are Content Creators like you) and the Players will have 7 to 14 Days to Build up Entire Civilization's with Cities, Towns and Villages and then Fight to see Who is the Ultimate Civilization or at least the Strongest Civilization. I laughed when I found out the rebellion was just a big troll and turned out to be a cake shop. I was ready to roll my eyes at people being awful and destroying everyone's hard work with TNT and anarchy again. It was a pleasant surprise and a good bit of fun

Oh boy glad to see this villagers vs humans, from the previous two videos the humans/players always fighting among themselves, now it's very damn surprising that they were all united working together this time despite some of the rebellion being "stupid" like any average american (which I'm talking about two previous videos but for this rebellion of this video was pretty prankster to me, it got me first half not gonna lie). Though I'm surprise that C10US3R was cooperative since from the previous video this guy always make chaos. Edit: oh boy my miss click, just got it fixed that :p

I’ve commented it a few times but I don’t imagine many people will see them buuuut The villagers had the same threats, but when they would spawn it would crash and cause a rollback. I could never get good footage of it because of it. 🙃
