What is Rec Room Studio?
Rec Room Studio is an extension of the Unity game engine that allows you to create and edit rooms in Rec Room. It enables you to import models and textures into rooms as well as create particles, terrain, and so much more. This video was made with an early beta of Rec Room Studio. It's still a work-in-progress using test features, so any features you see in use here could change a lot in the future. Thank you to Rec Room for giving me studio access!
How do I get access to Rec Room Studio?
Currently only a very small group of people has access to studio. It is in an early alpha state and they are slowly rolling it out to more waves of people over the next few months. You can sign up to get access at the link below. I do not know how they select who gets access and I cannot help you get access.

actually, a lot of companies that sponsor youtubers don't allow them to mark where the sponsorship starts and ends. so if you are watching a video where it isn't marked, it is probably the company's fault and not the youtuber's.

Well I knew directly from the start that I’d never understand RRStudio and this video gave me enough proof of that lol. Still looking forward to the release, I am just mainly worried that the good ol maker pen style is going to become obsolete if everyone starts using RRStudio. Nevertheless, this is guaranteed to have a both positive and negative impact. Also, *congrats on 60K subscribers!*

if your room is maker pen it's basically never going to get featured once this releases. but if you're only making games to get featured, why make games?

makerpen is best for people who don't have access to rr studio but its still glitchy as heck

how i see it is RRStudio is going to be more used to make the map portion of a game, while the maker pen objects will still reign supreme with weapons, costumes, and other actually game mechanic based items as most players likely are either on quest and dont have a pc to use RRS or those who do likely have no idea how blender or unity works let alone how to make a functioning gun or sword in it considering majority of RR's player hardly even grasp how the heck a cv1 Boolean chip works, i doubt we'll even see many functioning RRS maps unless its from specific teams or groups that do know how and all that, plus makerpens will still be used in legit everything else outside maps, like dorms and sandboxes, so likely not obsolete but more or less just a alternative for quest users and also those who have zero idea how the heck unity and blender works

i have alot of experience with roller coasters in unity. so every time you pointed out something, i was just like. "yup, sounds about right, yup, yup, oh yeah, absolutely, yyyyuuup!" when it went wrong XD

If you do make another video maybe you can try adding a turret of some sort. All of the programming can already be done with circuits and having a custom model for it would really bring it to life
