I make a Sheepshank Knot by bending Rebar, Rebar Metal Art Project. It is 12 mm (1/2" inch) Rebar

I hope you enjoy my video of making this Sheepshank knot, it was a lot of fun to make.
The main tools used were an LPG Burner, an angle grinder, and a bench vise.

@@GavinClarkdiy I understand the point of your disclaimer. It is your presentation, randomly injected into work documentation, which tickles me! Plus you do some awesome work. I bought some rebar last year with the intention of braiding it to make a sturdy coat-rack, and while looking at how to bend and braid steel I stumbled over your channel. I am especially impressed with your jigless techniques. I think most of the people making those safety remarks are just plain dicks. A few months ago I posted a comment to another fabricating channel, asking how/why it was safe to grab the subject with the welding ground attached and the wire in contact, but that presenter is not English-fluent so they took my question as criticism. I just wanted to know what I was missing, because I had the impression that the whole work-piece would be energized with 2-3 amps. So there is obviously a lot of that kind of thing going on.
@GavinClarkdiy

@@baudgaud Thank you very much, I appreciate your comment. I don't mind the comments trying to save me from myself, but they do take up time and I try to answer every comment I get. I also don't want anyone to do something that may get them hurt, by copying me doing something the "wrong" way. So that just might make them think about safety, I know my tools very well and some people are just starting to use tools. I appreciate your input, keep safe I wish you the best for your projects.

These are getting very complex now, but another great build! What are your thoughts on a rebar ‘Turk’s Head’. The ball like knot used to add weight to the end of a rope for throwing? Would look cool, but think you might need to find a fabricated solution.
