you can turn salary cap off and straight up rig your team by trading for expiring stars at the draft and have 12 90 ovr forwards and 6 86+ Defensemen and 90 ovr goalies and straight up miss the playoffs. at the same time whenever i do a kraken sim theyve won the stanley cup the first year in 2/3 tries and ive literally only made one move that effects the nhl level and thats getting rid of yanni gourde and bringing in toews and trading for robin lehner. somehow a worse sim engine than madden and 2k

Drafting tip for ya Look at the little lines on the side of the player when you see him and when you move the thing turns green so you know what I am talking about but If there are 4 of them that means he has x-factors

SOTI your videos are great but I'd love if you downloaded a custom roster that significantly and realistically adjusts all teams plus players, and also includes the current '24 Draft class (some even have the 25, and 26 classes too) cause Celebrini not being no. 1 was mind-boggling to me, and it made me immediately stop my franchise and dl an in-depth roster.

In a franchise mode I have, I was playing as the Abby Canucks. We somehow got into the playoffs. We won the cup once and I was so surprised, I just deleted it cuz I was looking for a challenge.

If u put Marchenko on the 3rd and 4th line averaging less than 15 mins a game he’s probably not gonna score as much as when another team in sim has him on the top 6, pretty simple it’s not the sim screwing u

I know CHEL logic is awful. But these are the worst trades of all time. Imagine any of these in the actual NHL. The GM wouldn’t even be able to get a job at McDonald’s after that 😅

Dude word of advice in NHL 24. DO NOT SIM UR season. I don't know if it was a glitch or the developers did it on purpose but if u sim ur season u'll be terrible no matter what. What I would do is third period 2 minute rule where u sim to the third period then play the third in 2 minutes or whatever the fastest IRT is.
