I loved the video! This girl reminded me of myself when I was her age. As an Egyptian girl, I used to talk in the same way, my foreign friends thought I was flirting, I was not flirting. This was my way of being fun and nice. I think this is our body language as Egyptian girls. After all those years, I can now see things in a different light. Yes, I guess, any non-Egyptian would think this is flirting. I feel embarrassed now at how I was seen. LOL!

I thought the same. Seriously, is very hard to connect with people. I'm 23, have always been surrounded by males (entire school life, 3 bros + rest of fam., mix college [is there any that isn't?🤔🤣🤣]) and by now, I can only admit having such chemistry with 3 boys; one from highschool and the other two that I meet last year in college class, and we have been only friends. No attraction, no flirting, no nothing. Just pure comfortableness around them and same for them with me 😎 Gotta admit it's hard to make friends of this kind and they both give me a vibe like mine 🤗 I've always thought that friends gotta have THIS type of chemistry in order to be real, otherwise I feel like I can't be myself so it's more like "having company" that "being with friends" 😜

i know this video is like 2 years old. but i would like to leave one word of advice for people learning any second language from scratch do not strive to achieve fluency strive to achieve competency. As long as you are able to engage and hold a conversation in the language that is all you really need. striving for fluency is an impossible goal as even people who speak that native tongue are not fluent in their own language
@sakitoby15812 жыл бұрын
Agree 100%. I have helped a lot of people get better with their English and French, and what I always advised was this: You don't have to be perfect, you just have to be understood. Practice over time will improve fluency.

It's korea what do you expect? It's a heavily homogenous Asian society so obviously if there's somebody that's a completely different race from them, they'd get stared at and get badmouthed. Especially if you're a foreigner and a non-white you're gonna have a hard time adapting. Now in America, it's less worse cuz it's multicultural but then again discrimination against minorities remain.

True, we shouldn’t be living in a world like that, but at the same time that is the reality we have to live through. I’ve lived in london, los angeles, and now canada (i’m from costa rica) and i can tell you, racism and xenophobia, are everyday issues we deal with. But, there’s a difference, i’ve been living in canada for 3 months now and by this time in los angeles i had already been screamed at for being “illegal” at least 3 times. It sucks, it’s shocking, sometimes scary.
