Dear Joey, Words can’t express how much you’ve helped me this year. You are such a real and honest person. You may not feel like it but happiness just radiates off of you. I have a chronic illness and this year I had some pretty serious health problems. I was often all by myself while my mom was at work. My friends didn’t bother to come see me or anything. So I started watching your videos to pass the time and make life more bearable. And it was that moment that I started to smile again. There I was alone and sick with a million reasons to hate everything, but you helped me get through it. Thank you Joey. Later in the year I had two friends commit suicide and that was the darkest time for me, I never thought I would get through it. But you helped me through that too. I wish there’s something I could do to show you how grateful I am. I love you Joey. I hope 2018 treats you well. You deserve all the happiness in the world. Your channel has inspired me in so many different ways. Damn right this is going to be our year! The year we finally do all those things that we've always wanted to do- but we've waited for "the right moment." I've learned that there's never going to be the right moment. Life gets crazy and somehow all our goals can easily fall to the back of our minds as we prioritize what is actually useless. This year, I want to make more people smile because I see the power that it has on others and also there's nothing that makes you feel better than when someone does something nice for you out of the blue (even if it's just a simple compliment). Honestly Joey, i truly appreciate you. To be real you were one of the first people that i subscribed to and that was a really long time ago which was back in 2015.. Almost when you first started making videos. This might sound dumb because i am simply just 15 years old (16 in April 5th) but i am truly proud of you. You have honestly have grown so much, so many things came your way but you still kept being you. Honestly your videos have helped me so much. There would be times where i would simply feel depressed.. And by watching your videos i knew that i wasnt the only one and that it was ok to be sad. Your videos have also helped me go through many problems.. Such and the ones where you talked about how do you know if a guy likes you.. & many more. I really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything i love you soo much ! -in this video once you said that you weren't doing well.. I related so much, especially when you said that what that girl did to you made a huge impact to you. I honestly try my best to be strong and help anyone who is struggling, however i hardly get a "thank you" it really sucks, but once you hear one like you said it changes everything.. And it saves a life. Also.. When you said that 2018 is going to be amazing and how your going to be making it your year.. I also related sooo much. I truly want to make this year MY year and make it as amazing as it can ever be. 2017 was a reflective year in my opinion.. I know it sounds dumb especially hearing it from a 15 year old but it's true. I spent New Year's Eve alone for the first time this year (technically last year lol) my two best friends had a date that night and all my other friends were doing something already and I hate asking people to make plans I feel like I'm being annoying especially when it's last minute. At first I was kind of upset that I was gonna be spending New Years alone but it was actually extremely beneficial to me.
