I went to an ENT and an allergy/asthma specialist and my diagnosis was sinus Polyps Needed surgery to remove them. Extensive surgery. We are trying a shot in my arm to shrink my polyps. Wish me luck.

I had my deviated septum repaired several years ago and it was absolutely worth it! I had a few issues post-surgery that made my recovery a little longer, but I don’t regret having the surgery at all. I had really bad allergies and was always sick with sinus infections that had become resistant to antibiotics. I had difficulty breathing in places with minimal air flow. After surgery, I was able to stop all my prescription allergy meds and I rarely get sinus infections anymore. I highly recommend it, if you feel it is something you meet the criteria for after seeing the ent.

I've had the deviated septum surgery but the catch is the surgery could work, might not work, or could work only for a yr. My surgery held for 2yrs and now I have to go back to see if it can be done again

A nose job is when they change to look of your nose. Fixing a deviated septum is not a nose job. Speaking as someone who has had three. Just give yourself more down time than you think.

I'm very interested to hear what the doctor has to say. I've got a Z shaped septum and it's blocking both sides so breathing can get hard. But after hearing what they needed to do to fix it and the risks I'm not doing it. Please ask about the risks before you get the surgery.

HI I had to have my deviated septum fixed from when I broke my nose at the age of 12. I had alot of sinus issues and they ruptured so surgery was my only option. The surgery was rough at first but I got through it fine. The only downside is my speaking voice and singing voice changed. I had to learn how to breath with two open airways lol I wish you luck!

If you do have a deviated septum, I really do recommend the operation. Had it done 15 years ago, it was totally worth it!

My husband got his deviated septum fixed and it’s completely improved his breathing. He would get sinus infections all the time. He would also snore at night non stop. His left side was completely blocked with fluid when the surgeon went in! The recovery wasn’t too bad either. He got hit in the face by a baseball as a kid one too many times 😂

I got nose job for my septum and it was worth it.

Just a thing but the dripping of the nose try to have somebody come in and check your house to see if you have mold I'm not saying you have mold I'm just saying you might have it especially if it's dripping for no reason
