The resource converter can (at least with a few upgrades) provide essentially unlimited resources.

Yes, it very much is possible to mine out the whole mine. In fact, it's an achievement. But you already knew this, if you watched the video. It's actually REALLY easy to do on the smallest map and easiest difficulty, if that's your cup of tea.

coffee ore is actually an extremely rare resource, i hear it has the ability to super charge your movement speed to ludicrous speeds

The egg you keep finding and bringing to your dome is a pet. You can see it hatched a cat in the dome it's the blue thing in the middle. There's multiple different pets. I have no clue if they do anthing useful though.

Egg=Pet Elevator can now go through solid blocks. Maxing out the wave delayer is stupidly good. You can beat the last wave just pause in the upgrade menu and buy health upgrades during it.

That egg is how you keep getting new pets. Each time you make it take root in the dome, a new pet gets unlocked.

If you Find the egg after beating the game it hatches into a cat that hangs around in your dome

i have done iit on the biggest map and on the biggest difficulty. I actually got less resourses than you but a lot more monsters, so the difficulty is working that way

DF needs to finish the but he has to beat all the monsters that spawn when you get the relic!! It's an achievement. P.S. keep your health above half or else it will automatically use the relic. Buy all upgrades: health- 1,2 Impact recuperation- 1,2 Etc.

If DF had taken the resource converter he could have had infinite resources to max out everything, instead of running out when there's no longer anything left to mine.

The Egg unlocks new Pets everytime you find one and bring it to your dome. Don't know how many there are though

Drop the seed on a tile that contains an element, the tree will grow and produce that element. NOTE, the roots of the tree will spread through undug tiles in search of new elements 9x9 or possibly10x10 around the plantsite, so yes roots will grow upwards too. this means if you do not did everything immediately and look for an area with 2 or 3 elements locally you might just make an infinity tree that produces all three elements. Be sure to make room above to allow the tree to grow into.

The weird thing you talked about that suddenly grew a piece of iron is a seed, and if you place it on an iron deposit it will GROW iron for you
